Abstract:Educationisthecorestrategytoalleviatethecontradictionbetweennewqualityproductive
forcesandthesupply&demandoftalents,whilebasiceducationistheindispensablecornerstonefor
shapingnewqualitytalents.Inordertoconsolidatethecultivationfoundationoffuturenewquality
talents,thebasiceducationshouldcloselyfocusontheneedsofnewqualitytalents,buildasetof
efficientmechanismssoastohelpstudentssmoothlygrowintonewqualitytalents.Inthisprocess,
theguidance ofcomposite educational goals,the restructuring ofinterdisciplinary knowledge
systems,andthecustomizedstrategiesprovidestrongsupportforSTEAMeducationtoempowerthe
cultivationofnewtalents.Inordertomeetthemulti-dimensionalneedsofnewtalents,itisnecessary
toreconstructthecultivation mechanism ofSTEAM educationfromfivekeylevels:reshapingthe
corecultivation concept,clarifying thefundamentalcultivation goal,strengthening the basic
cultivationconditions,formulatingtheprimarycultivationstrategyandstabilizingthekeycultivation
cornerstones.InordertopromoteSTEAM educationtobetteradapttothedevelopmentofthe
digitalizationerainthecultivationofnewtalents,aseriesofmeasuresshouldbetaken:toensurethe
efficientoperationofSTEAMeducation,toimproveitsinterdisciplinaryknowledgesystem,tobuild
aspacethatspansvirtualandphysicalworlds,toimprovetheSTEAMqualificationsofteachers,and
tobuildavibrantnewecologyforthecultivationofSTEAMtalents.Theimplementationofthese
measureswillstronglypromotetheinnovationanddevelopmentofSTEAMeducationincultivating
newqualitytalents,thuscontributingtothesocialprogressinthenewera.
