中心秉持“服务全球学子、成就国际人才”的理念，坚持以留学人员为本，与时俱进，不断创新拓展服务方式、服务项目和服务内容，努力以热诚细致和专业化的服务贯彻落实“支持留学、鼓励回国、来去自由、发挥作用”的新时代留学工作方针。中心成立36年来，已成为党和政府做好留学服务工作的重要抓手和主要窗口，累计为超过500万的留学人员提供了各种服务，为我国留学事业的发展做出了应有贡献。

Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) was founded on March 31st,1989.It is a public institution affiliatedtotheMinistryofEducation(MOE)ofthePeople's Republic of China.As a legal entity, CSCSE specializes in offering professional services for international scholarly exchanges, including Chinese students and scholars studyingabroad,returneesfromabroad,andinternational students and scholars studying inChina.

持续推进数字化留学服务建设CONTINUINGTOPROMOTEDIGITALSTUDYABROADSERVICES

中国（教育部）留学服务中心致力于以数字化、智能化提升留学服务的质量、内容和覆盖范围，不断加强数字化建设，国家留学人员综合服务平台于2023年12月正式上线国家智慧教育平台。平台面向留学生群体及相关机构，提供留学政务服务、平安留学、国外院校查询、就业和创新创业等服务。

留学政务服务，面向留学生提供国（境）外学历学位认证、公派留学派出服务、留学回国就业报到和留学存档四项留学服务事项。上线以来，已为247万人次的留学人员提供服务。2024年7月，作为“留学服务一件事”纳入国务院办公厅第二批“高效办成一件事”重点事项。

平安留学培训服务，通过打造与线下教育相融合的在线培训体系，为国内外合作机构提供协同开展留学生平安留学培训的线上平台。

认证院校查询服务，以中心已认证国（境）外颁证院校数据库为基础，为公众提供国（境）外院校资质查询参考。目前，系统对外发布的院校名单已涵盖140余个国家的7500余所院校。

留学人才就业服务，通过国家留学人才就业服务平台，在线为留学人员和用人单位提供智能、便捷、可靠的就业服务。目前，已注册求职者30万余名，用人单位1700余家，发布招聘职位6000余个。

创新创业服务，在线为留学生提供技术和项目供给、国内单位技术与项目需求、创新创业指导专家库等信息，为留学人员创新创业打造专业性支持体系。

为贯彻落实国务院办公厅“留学服务一件事”要求，中心整合资源，于2024年8月底上线“留学e网通”移动端APP。APP立足留学人员的切实需求，提供留学前、留学中、留学后的全方位便捷服务，着力打造留学人员可及可信可用的一站式便捷服务平台。目前已实现：

会员权益一键通，留学人员可通过完善完信息获得会员权益，获取相关福利。政务服务掌上通，可以通过留学政务服务移动端实现全流程办理。消息推送智能通，留学人员在开启定位权限后可精准获取所在国使领馆、学联等机构发布的通知，及时准确获得相关信息。

中国国际教育巡回展CHINAINTERNATIONALEDUCATIONEXHIBITIONTOUR

教育部（中国）留学服务中心将于2025年4月11日-20日在北京、武汉、上海和广州举办“2025年（第三十届）中国国际教育巡回展”（CIEET）。中国国际教育巡回展始创于1999年，历经26年发展，现已成为国内公认最具影响力、最大规模、涵盖留学服务最全面的综合国际教育展会之一。

自举办以来，教育展已吸引来自全球61个国家和地区的6971余所院校和机构参加，观展人数累计约160万人次。在教育部大力支持下，中国国际教育巡回展及中国留学论坛以推动留学工作高质量发展为己任，以加快和扩大高水平教育对外开放为使命，为出国留学人员持续提供及时、全面、权威的海外留学资讯，为留学人员和海外院校提供了双向选择的机会，为中外高校交流合作搭建了洽谈对接的平台，为引导和规范自费出国留学健康有序发展作出了积极贡献。

The2025(30th)ChinaInternational EducationExhibitionTour(ClEET 2025),organized by ChineseService CenterforScholarly Exchange (CSCSE),will be held in Beijing,Wuhan, Shanghai, and Guangzhou from 11 to 20 April, 2025. The China International Education ExhibitionTour,inauguratedin1999andnowinits 26^{th} year,has established itself as oneof themost influential,and largest-scale internationaleducationexhibitionsinChinathatcoversthewidest spectrumof servicesinrelationtostudyabroad.

Since itsfirst series started in 1999, there were more than 6,971 universities and institutions from 61 countries and regions joined the exhibition and displayed theireducationalopportunitiesto over 1.6 million Chinese students and parents.With firm support from the Ministry of Education,CIEETis dedicated to promoting high-quality development of the study abroad initiatives,and accelerating and broadening China's high-level opening up in the field of education. Under this commitment, CIEET has been consistently providing upto-date, comprehensive，and authoritative information on global learning, while having set up a platform for reciprocal selection between destinationuniversities and outbound Chinese students. CIEET has also functioned as a bridge that fosters intercollegiate exchangesandcooperationbetweenChineseandoverseas universities, while playing a noteworthy role in helping guide and regulate the healthy and orderly development of self-funded study abroad.

2025中国留学论坛－主论坛2025CHINASTUDYABROADFORUM

自2004年起，中国留学论坛已在京成功举办21年。论坛全面梳理国际教育领域和留学事业的最新发展趋势，分享各国高校在促进学生流动、提升高校国际化水平以及培养创新型人才方面的成功经验，为中外高校和教育机构搭建了学习交流的平台，为推进中国教育改革发展和全球教育合作与交流做出了积极贡献。

教育国际交流与合作正日趋成为教育发展的必然趋势。留学在促进个体全面发展，提供人才培养创新路径，推进全球科技创新、解决人类社会共同面对的问题等方面日益发挥着重要作用；各国人员频繁流动，教育资源、教育政策、教育模式相互影响、相互借鉴，也形成丰富多彩的国际教育生态。同时，随着教育公平与质量问题凸显、人工智能高速发展带来的教育形态变革、“逆全球化”浪潮和地缘政治变化给国际教育带来的深刻影响，各国的教育改革与发展、留学教育与国际合作正面临新课题、新挑战、新机遇。

面对全球性挑战，留学教育何去何从？高等教育机构应承担怎样的使命？2025中国留学论坛期待同各国政府、教育机构、用人单位等各利益攸关方一道，就各方关注展开深入探讨，共创面向未来的创新发展路径。

本届论坛以“回应挑战共创未来：开创留学教育新格局”为主题，将重点就国际化人才培养的趋势与规律、跨境教育的质量评价和学历互认、数字化国际化背景下高等教育的合作交流与制度创新等议题展开深入探讨。

王大泉先生现为中国（教育部）留学服务中心党委书记、主任。管理学博士。曾长期在教育部政策法规司工作，历任法治办公室副主任、副司长等职。主持或者参与教育法、民办教育促进法、职业教育法、学位法以及中外合作办学条例等教育法律法规规章的起草或者修订工作。

Mr.WANG Daquan is now the Director-Generalof the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE).He holds a doctor's degree in Management. He has previously worked for an extended period in theDepartment ofPoliciesandRegulations of the Ministry of Education,P.R.China,serving in various roles such as Deputy Director of the Legal Affairs Office and DeputyDirector of the Department. He has overseen or participated in the drafting or revision of educational laws and regulations, including those relatedtoeducation,promotionofprivately-runschools,vocational education,academic degrees, as well as regulations governing China-ForeignCooperationinRunningSchools.

H.E. Mr. Peter Tan

陈海泉先生（MrPeterTan）自2023年5月起担任新加坡驻中华人民共和国大使。2015年1月至2019年9月，陈先生担任新加坡外交部副常任秘书，掌管东南亚和亚细安（东盟）等事务。2019年10月至2023年4月，担任新加坡驻日本大使。2011年2月至2015年1月，担任新加坡驻韩国大使（同时兼任蒙古国大使）。

Mr Peter Tan has been Singapore's Ambassador to the People's Republicof China since May2023.MrTan was Deputy Secretary/ SoutheastAsia&ASEANintheMinistryofForeignAffairsfrom January 2015 to September 2019. Mr Tan als0 served as the SingaporeAmbassador to Japanfrom October 2019 toApril 2023 and the Republicof Korea (concurrently accredited to Mongolia) fromFebruary 2011toJanuary 2015.

自1992年加入外交部以来，陈先生在东南亚、东北亚、欧洲、澳大利亚、新西兰和太平洋、联合国和技术合作等司担任过各种职务。1995年至1998年，陈先生在新加坡驻东京大使馆担任一等秘书。2001年至2002年，陈先生在吉隆坡新加坡最高专员公署担任参赞。2002年至2005年，陈先生在新加坡驻东京大使馆担任参赞，随后担任公使衔参赞及使团副团长。2005年12月27日，陈先生担任新加坡外交部东南亚司第二司长，随后2006年10月至2010年8月担任司长。

Since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in1992, Mr Tan has served invarious capacities on issues related to SoutheastAsia, Northeast Asia,Europe,Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, United Nations and Technical Cooperation. Mr Tan served in the Singapore Embassy inTokyoasFirst Secretary from1995 to 1998 and in the Singapore High Commission inKuala Lumpur as Counsellor from 2001 to 2002.He also served in the Singapore Embassy in Tokyo from 2002 to 2005 as Counsellor, and subsequently as ActingMinister-Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission.MrTan was appointed asSecond Directorof the Southeast AsiaDirectorateon27December2005,andservedasDirectorfrom October2006toAugust2010.

陈先生于1992年毕业于新加坡国立大学，获得二等一级荣誉文学学士学位。2000年取得美国哥伦比亚大学东亚研究专业文学硕士学位，并获得富布赖特奖学金。陈先生于2008年被授予公共行政（银）奖章。

Mr Tangraduatedwitha BachelorofArts,Honsll Upperfrom the National University of Singapore in 1992. He was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship and obtained his Master ofArts(EastAsian Studies) from Columbia University,USA,in 2000.Mr Tan was awardedthePublicAdministrationMedal(Silver)in2008.

张平文，理学博士，中共党员，教授，中国科学院院士、发展中国家科学院院士，现任武汉大学校长、党委副书记。

2015年当选为中国科学院数学物理学部院士，2016年当选为发展中国家科学院院士，2020年当选为美国工业与应用数学学会会士，国家自然科学基金创新研究群体项目学术带头人（2014年）及“科学计算与机器学习”基础科学中心项目负责人（2022年）。2018年至今担任大数据分析与应用技术国家工程实验室主任。

2021年获何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖，2014年获国家自然科学奖二等奖，2007年获教育部高校自然科学奖一等奖，并曾获冯康科学计算奖等奖励。2011年受邀在第七届国际工业与应用数学大会上作一小时报告，2014年受邀在美国工业与应用数学年会上作大会报告，2018年受邀在国际数学家大会作45分钟邀请报告。担任学术期刊CSIAMTransactions on Applied Mathematics 主编，AppliedMathematicsandMechanics等十余种国内外期刊编委，发表学术论文100余篇。

历任北京大学校长助理，副校长，党委常委、副校长等职务，2022年12月任武汉大学校长、党委副书记。

张平文院士Prof. ZHANG Pingwen

Prof. ZHANG Pingwen was appointed President of Wuhan University and Vice Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of Wuhan University in December 2022.

Prior to this appointment,Prof.HANG served successivelyas Assistant President,Vice President,Standing Committeemember of the CommunistParty andVice President of Peking University.

President ZHANG received his bachelor's degree and Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Peking University. His research focuses on computational mathematics, modeling and simulationof soft matter, appliedanalysis andnumerical analysisand big data analysis andapplications.

President ZHANG was elected as an Academician of the Division of Mathematics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2015, a member of The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries (TWAs) in 2016, a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) in 2020, an academic leader of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Innovative Research Group Project (2014) and a project leader of the Scientific Computing and Machine Learning Center for Basic Science (2022).He has been the director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data Analytics and Applied Technologies since 2018.

President ZHANG was awarded The HO LEUNG HO LEE Science and Technology Progress Award in 2021, the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award in 2014, the First Prize of the Natural Science Award for Universities of the Chinese Ministry of Education in 2007, the FENG Kang Prize in 1999, etc. He was invited to give conference presentations at the 7th International Congress of Industrial and Applied Mathematics in 2011, the Annual Meeting of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics in 2014, and the International Congress of Mathematicians in 2018.Currently,he is the editor-inchief of the academic journal CSlAM Transactions on Applied Mathematics, the editorial board member of more than ten domestic and international journals such as Applied Mathematics and Mechanics,and published more than100 academic papers.

Part-time positions held by President ZHANG include Chairman of the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM) and Vice Chairman of the 11th Council of the ChineseInstituteofElectronics.

MariaFasli教授，自2024年8月起担任埃塞克斯大学校长。她是一位在人工智能领域享有盛誉的计算机科学教授，拥有丰富的教学和研究经验。Fasli教授在埃塞克斯大学获得博士学位，并在数据挖掘和知识发现方面取得了突破性成果。她曾获高等教育学院国家教学奖，以表彰其对教育领域的贡献。在领导埃塞克斯大学的过程中，她致力于推动学术卓越和科研创新，尤其在人工智能和数据科学领域。她的教育背景和研究成果为大学的未来发展奠定了坚实基础。

除了在埃塞克斯大学的工作外，Fasli教授自2016年以来一直担任联合国教科文组织(UNESCO)分析和数据科学教席，并在应对帮助发展中国家和转型国家获得21世纪所需的数据科学和分析技能的挑战方面发挥着国际作用。

Professor Maria Fasli has been serving as the Acting ViceChancellor of the University of Essex since August 2024. She is a distinguishedprofessor of computer sciencerenowned in the field of artificial intelligence, possessing extensive experience inbothteachingandresearch.ProfessorFasliwasawarded herdoctoratefromtheUniversityofEssex,wheresheachieved groundbreaking results in big data analyzing and modelling.She has been honored with the National Teaching Fellowship from the Higher EducationAcademy in recognition of hercontributions to the educational sector. In her stewardship of the University of Essex, sheiscommittedtoadvancing academicexcellenceand innovation in scientificresearch,particularly withinthe realms of artificial intelligence and data science.Her educational background and scholarlyachievementshavelaidasolidfoundationforthefuture development of theuniversity.

Inadditiontoherroleat theUniversityof Essex,ProfessorFaslihas beenservingastheUNESCOChairinAnalyticsandDataScience since2016,playing an international role in addressing the challenge of equipping developing and transitional countrieswith the data science and analytical skillsnecessary for the 21st century.

Dr. Alan Davis

AlanDavis博士于2012年9月1日被任命为昆特仑理工大学校长。戴维斯博士出生于英国雷丁，曾在英国伦敦大学学院和加拿大西蒙菲莎大学学习化学，并于1980年获得化学博士学位。之后，他在菲沙河谷大学教授化学12年。

Dr.AlanDaviswas appointedPresidentofKwantlenPolytechnic University September 1,2012.A native of Reading, England, Dr. Davis studied chemistry at University CollegeLondon,and at Simon Fraser University,where he was awarded hisPhDin chemistry in 1980.Hethen taught chemistryfor12yearsat the University of the FraserValley.

戴维斯博士曾在美国和加拿大的机构担任领导职务，包括不列颠哥伦比亚开放大学、阿萨巴斯卡大学、尼亚加拉学院和温哥华社区学院。2008-2012年间，他曾担任纽约州立大学系统的帝国州立大学校长。

Dr. Davis has held leadership positions at institutions in the United States and Canada,including theBritish ColumbiaOpenUniversity, AthabascaUniversity,NiagaraCollege andVancouver Community College.From 2008-2012he served asPresident of EmpireState University at theStateUniversity of NewYork.

戴维斯博士是加拿大高等教育研究学会前任主席和杰出会员，曾在美国和加拿大多个委员会任职。

他目前担任多家顾问委员会的委员，包括成人和体验式教育理事会，、伊利诺伊大学校长委员会、管理委员会协会（会长），以及安大略省学院质量保证服务管理委员会。

Dr.Davis is past President and a Distinguished Member of the CanadianSocietyfortheStudyof HigherEducation,andhasserved onvarious committees and commissions in theU.S.and Canada.

He currently serves on theAdvisoryBoard of theCouncil forAdult andExperiential Learning,thePresident'sCouncilfortheUniversity of lllinois,theCouncilofPresidentsfortheAssociationof Governing Boards,and theManagementBoard of theOntarioCollegeQuality AssuranceService.

Aside from his academic contributions through teaching and scholarship,Dr.Davis is also a published playwright.

段鹏，北京语言大学校长、党委副书记。男，汉族，1974年12月出生，中共党员，文学博士，二级教授，博士生导师。现任北京语言大学校长、党委副书记。曾任中共中国传媒大学委员会常委、中国传媒大学副校长、媒体融合与传播国家重点实验室常务副主任、科技部“111引智计划”智能融媒体基地主任、国家语言文字推广基地主任、教育部首批文科实验室一国家舆情实验室常务副主任，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。

系“国家有突出贡献中青年专家”、人社部等七部委“百千万人才工程”国家级人选、中宣部文化名家暨“四个一批”国际传播领军人才、“国家中长期科技发展规划融媒体科学首席科学家”“国家新闻出版行业领军人才”，兼任中国国际志愿服务工作委员会主任、国际中文教育基金会副理事长、Scopus英文国际期刊《TechArt》编委、ESCI英文国际期刊《GlobalMediaandChina》联合执行主编。

Duan Peng, professor and doctoral advisor with a Ph.D. in Literature, is the current president of Beijing Language and Culture University.

Dr. Duan previously served as Vice President of the Communication University of China,Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Media Convergence and Communication, Director of the Intelligent Integrated Media Base under the “111 Plan (Discipline Innovation and Introduction Program of Colleges and Universities)" of the Ministry of Science and Technology,Director of the National Language Promotion Base, and Executive Deputy Director of the National Public Opinion Laboratory, an innovative humanities laboratory approved by the Ministry of Education. His outstanding contributions have earned him the Special Government Allowance of the State Council ofChina.

丹尼斯·西蒙（DenisSimon)，美国籍，博士，国际人才组织联合会（AGTO）主席。西蒙博土1952年出生于纽约布鲁克林，2006年获得中国国家友谊奖。他曾在美国多所顶尖大学担任终身教职，包括伦斯勒理工学院、宾州州立大学、纽约州立大学、俄勒冈大学和亚利桑那州立大学，他也曾在麻省理工大学任教，并担任哥伦比亚大学客座教授。他还曾在摩立特咨询集团和安达信咨询（现为埃森哲）两家公司担任过中国区领导职位。2015至2020年间，西蒙博士任昆山杜克大学的常务副校长。他出版了多部学术著作，包括《中国科技崛起的人才优势》。他的研究领域包括东亚创新与研发体系、中美科技合作、国际人才交流等。他可以使用普通话进行交流。

Robinfirst arrived at theUniversity of Sussexas an undergraduate student,andstayedonatSussextocompletehisdoctoralstudies onthetopic of social，cognitive，motivational，and emotional aspects of self-presentation in childhood. He went on to serve as a British AcademyPost-Doctoral Fellow and took up a position as LecturerinPsychologyin2002,progressing tohiscurrentposition asProfessor of DevelopmentalPsychology.Robin took on his firstuniversityleadershiproleasHeadofSchoolinAugust 2019, inwhich capacityherepresented theSciences on theUniversity executiveteam.InSeptember2023,hebecametheUniversity'sfirst PVCfor Global and CivicEngagement.

His research focuses on the social and emotional development of young people, and he works closely with practitioners and policymakersintheareasofeducationandmentalhealth. He founded the Sussex Centre for Research on Kindness, an interdisciplinaryresearchcentrefocused onilluminating thenature of kindness and its impacts on people and communities. Professor Banerjeerecently led the world's largest everpublicscienceproject onkindness,TheKindnessTest,inpartnershipwith theBBC.

南开大学教授、博士生导师、新闻与传播学院创始院长，《科技日报》原总编辑。现任南开大学致知书院院长，中国科技新闻学会副理事长，中国公共关系协会常务理事，天津市科技新闻学会理事长，天津市公共关系协会会长。

参加过许多国内外重大事件和活动的报道，写出大批有份量有影响的作品。上世纪九十年代赴美国，任常驻联合国暨纽约首席记者。五年里足迹遍及美国48个州，以新闻报道的方式引领国内读者全方位、多层次地了解美国科技、教育、社会、文化以及风土人情。作为清华大学工学学士、硕士和北京大学法学博士，兼备自然科学和社会科学两种知识背景。良好的外语条件和长期在国外工作的经历，使其具有广阔的国际视野，并得以在全球化高度上开展新闻实践。

学历学位跨境信任体系建构中国留学服务中心

教育部留学服务中心是国内唯一从事国（境）外学历学位认证服务的国家级专业机构。国（境）外学历学位认证作为一项重要社会服务，以其专业性和权威性被留学人员和社会各界单位广泛信赖，作为人才选聘、研究生录取、留学人员落户等工作的重要参考。30年来，国（境）外学历学位认证不断转变服务方式、优化服务流程、提高服务质量和效率，在助力留学人员回国就业创业、推动国家留学事业发展和教育对外开放等方面发挥了积极重要的作用，也成为了促进国际化人才培养与中外教育交流互鉴的必要环节。

近年来，在科技发展以及疫情等特殊因素的影响下，国际教育局势正在发生显著变化，教育教学形式日趋多样，留学人员对于留学目的国及院校的选择也呈现出显著的差异。为提高国（境）外学历学位认证工作的服务质量，提升高等教育国际治理参与度，我中心拟在现有认证院校查询服务的基础上，进一步开发利用数据资源，建立学历学位跨境信任体系，制定以各国高校为单位的信任指标，并在评估后发布各国高校的信任指数，为留学人员、有关单位和社会各界提供更多参考。此次研讨将对近年来国（境）外学历学位认证服务的发展情况进行介绍，并对学历学位跨境信任体系的构建和重要性进行研讨。

The Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange under the Ministry of Education is the only national-level specialized institution in China engaged in the overseas credentials evaluation service.As animportant public service,this overseas credential evaluation servicehas gained broad trust from returning students and various sectors of society,thankstoits expertise and authority.It also serves as a key reference for talent recruitment, graduate admissions,and settlement procedures for those returning from overseas.Overthepast30years,the overseas credentials evaluation service has continuously refined its service approach, optimized processes, and improved service quality and efficiency. In doing so, it has played a vital role in supporting the employment and entrepreneurship of returnees,advancing the nation's study-abroad initiatives, and promoting educational openness. It has also become an essential link in fostering international talent and facilitating educational exchange andmutual learningbetweenChina and othercountries.

In recent years,due to technological advancements and other particular factors, including the pandemic, the international education landscape has changed significantly.Educationalmodels arebecoming increasingly diverse,and international students'preferencesfordestinationcountries and institutionsnow showmarked differences.Tofurther enhancethe quality of overseas credentials evaluationservicesand increase participationin global higher education governance,CSCSEplans to build onits existing credentials evaluation services by further developing and utilizing data resources. The goal is to establish a cross-border trust system for academic degrees, formulate trust indicators for universities in various countries,and, after evaluation,publisha trust indexforthese institutions-providing additional references for students,relevant organizations, and society.This sub-forum will introduce recent developments in the overseas credentials evaluation service and will exploreboththe construction of a cross-border trust system and itssignificance.

The year 2025is a pivotalyearforimplementing the spirit of the National Education Conference and for advancing the Master Plan on Building China into a Leading Country in Education.It is also a year of progress in promoting the high-quality development of the Center's internationaleducationprograms.The theme of this overseas study training program is “Talent Cultivation, Empowerment, and Sustainable Development of the Program". Prior to joining UQ,Rongyu was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and VicePresident(Students and Partnerships)at the University of Canberra; the Executive Director,International at RMIT University and Deakin University respectively inMelbourne.He has held other senior leadershippositionsfor more than a decade in International Education across a number of Higher Education institutions inAustralia and NewZealand.

Rongyu has a wealth of leadership experience in International Education and he is known for being visionary, entrepreneurial and innovative. He has an exceptional trackrecord of transforming organisations,building institutional capabilities and developing high performing teams.

戴瑷伶女士Ms. Alison Dell

Professor Marcus Lane PhD, commenced as the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academy (DVCA) in 2022following a successful 3-yeartenure as Deputy Vice Chancellor, Division of Tropical Environments and Societies at James Cook University. In his role as DVCA, Professor Lane leads a dynamic team of accomplished Deans and Professional Executives across six Academic Colleges and two rural health centers across JCU operations and locations in Townsvill,Cairns,Brisbane,Regional Queensland,Singapore, and with higher education partners and providersglobally.

Professor Lane actively drives a complex and multifaceted strategic agenda for the Academy and JcU across twenty six academic discipline areas that aims to align degree programs and research activities with educational needs spanning the local and international student community, delivering a direct contribution to growth, economic activity and wel-being in regional areas by providing study experiences that are contemporary,challenging and rewarding.

Educated at Griffith University and the University of Queensland, Professor Lane has extensive academic and academic leadership experience.An environmental scientist and geographer by training, his areas of enduring academic interest include environmental policy and management, and Indigenous rights. His research and applied research activity spans two decades and entails extensive engagement across northern Australia, Melanesia and southeast Asia. In environmental policy and management his particular foci are: decentralization of resource governance,regional development and planning, indigenous peoples and resource conflicts, and the socioeconomic dimensions of major resource development. Forest management and, in particular, the transition of forests to conservation tenures, is a specialization. Professor Lane has published widely across these fields, including 80 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and a number of books and monographs. His H-index is 36.

Professor Lane maintains a keen interest in public policy in two key areas: environmental policy and governance across northern Australia and Melanesia, rural and regional economic development and Sino-Australia relations.These interests, his research expertise and his senior positions have enabled him to undertake a number of senior university roles as well as memberships/directorships of a variety of local and national Boards and Councils.He currently serves as a Non-executive Director on the Board of The Tropical Australian Academic Health Centre, have previously served on the Boards of the Australian Tropical Herbarium and the Reef and Rainforest Research Corporation.
