Dear Partners and Clients of Sika China,

It's great to present you with new edition of Sika China Customer

Magazine in this autumn. This year marks the 30th anniversary

since Sika entered China. We are going to host the 30th Anniversary & APAC New TC Building Opening Ceremony in the beautiful

Suzhou city where the headquarters of Sika China is located . We

would like to take this opportunity to present to you the wonderful chapters of Sika's course in China including \"Salute to Growth\",

\"Salute to the Times\" and \"Salute to the future\". And we Look

forward to communicating with you online or offline with regard

to the great event of Sika China

This year, with the economic recovery, Sika Group has solidified

its business presence in China. The investment contract of Sika's

largest production base in China in the Dushan Port Economic

Development Zone of Zhejiang has been signed. The new production plant which will be put into operation by the end of 2025

features Sika's product line and advanced production technology,

and it strictly follows international green building standards for

construction. At the same time, we have completed the global

acquisition of MBCC Group. Sika MBCC Day One Celebration China

Station has been successfully held. We sincerely welcome former

MBCC team to Sika family.

The investments and acquisitions show Sika's strong confidence

in the Chinese market. One of Sika China's strategies is deepening localization in order to provide products suitable for the local

market. In this edition, you will find Sika China’s recent projects,

such as the Huangmaohai Sea-Crossing Channel, the Marisfrolg

Campus, the Tibet Highway, and the Sika & City, which will give

you a deeper understanding of Sika's business and development

2023 年 6 月 14 日,西卡中国苏州总

部再迎瑞士驻华大使白瑞谊阁下(H.E. Jürg

Burri)来访!

这是继今年 1 月白瑞谊阁下造访西

卡中国广州生产基地后,大使阁下和瑞

士驻上海总领事邵凯文先生 (Mr. Sacha

Bachmann)等一行造访西卡中国苏州总部,

双方就西卡在华业务发展、中瑞经贸合作

和瑞资企业在华前景等议题展开了深入交

流,共商美好未来。西卡中国总裁张烨炯

先生率管理层成员出席接待活动,并陪同

参观。

欢迎仪式中,双方共同摁下了象征友

谊长存的手印,祝愿中瑞友谊,超乎期待!

紧接着,西卡中国管理层成员从西卡

技术创新和零碳发展的企业战略、雇主品

牌建设、可持续发展运营等多个维度向大

使阁下展示了西卡在华发展的状况和成就。

对此,白瑞谊大使阁下给予了赞扬和充分

认同,并期待西卡中国不断的创新与前进。

未来,西卡中国会继续和瑞士驻华大

使馆及领事馆保持密切沟通,在加强品牌

建设、推动中国瑞士经贸发展和文化交流

等方面深入合作,助力建筑和工业行业实

On June 14, 2023, Sika China Suzhou HQ

again welcomed the visit of H.E. Jürg Burri,

the Swiss Ambassador to China.

This visit serves as a follow-up to the visit

of H.E. Jürg Burri to Sika China’s production

base in Guangzhou in January this year.

This time, H.E. Jürg Burri and Mr. Sacha

Bachmann, Consul General of Switzerland

in Shanghai, led a group to visit Sika China's Suzhou HQ. Both sides conducted indepth exchanges on issues, such as Sika’s

business development in China, business

and trade cooperation between China and

Switzerland, and the prospects of Swiss

enterprises in China, to create a better future for both parties. Mr. Leo Zhang, Sika

China President, and other management

members attended the reception and accompanied the group during the visit.

During the welcome ceremony, both sides

printed their hands together, symbolizing

forever friendship and their expectations

for the enhancement of China-Switzerland

friendship!

Subsequently, the management members

of Sika China demonstrated to the Ambassador the status and achievements of

Sika in China from perspectives, such as

the corporate strategy for technological

innovation and zero carbon development,

the building of the employer brand, and

sustainable operations. H.E. Jürg Burri

spoke highly of and fully recognized the

development results of Sika. He also expressed his hopes for Sika China to strive

for innovation and march ahead.

In the future, Sika China will continue to

keep in close contact with the Embassy

and Consulate of Switzerland in China,

undertake in-depth cooperation in areas,

such as strengthening brand building, promoting business and trade development

and cultural exchanges between China and

Switzerland, and helping with the sustainability and zero-carbon transformation of

the construction and industrial sectors;

in the meantime, Sika will support the

development of domestic construction

and industry through such measures as

increasing investment, deepening cooperation, and improving product portfolio and

services.

西卡迈伯仕首日庆典

2021 年 11 月西卡宣布收购 MBCC 迈伯

仕集团,以加强其全球建筑行业中可持续发

展领先地位。迈伯仕集团总部位于德国曼海

姆,之前是孤星基金的子公司,业务活跃于

建筑系统和混凝土外加剂系统领域。为了完

成收购交易并遵守监管要求,西卡将迈伯仕

集团在英国、美国、加拿大、欧洲、澳大利

亚和新西兰的外加剂资产出售给了国际私募

股权公司 Cinven。西卡收购了迈伯仕集团其

他的所有业务,该业务拥有 6,200 名员工,

在 60 多个国家拥有 95 个生产工厂,该部分

业务在 2022 年实现了 21 亿瑞士法郎的净销

售额。

In November 2021, Sika announced the

acquisition of MBCC Group to reinforce

its position as a champion for sustainable

development in the global construction

industry. MBCC Group, headquartered in

Mannheim, Germany, and formerly owned

by an affiliate of Lone Star Funds, is active

in the fields of construction systems and

concrete admixture systems. To close the

transaction and to comply with regulatory

requirements, Sika sold MBCC Group's

chemical admixtures assets in the UK, the

USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and New

Zealand to the international private equity

firm Cinven. Sika acquired all remaining

business of MBCC Group, with 6,200 employees and 95 manufacturing plants in

over 60 countries. The business generated

net sales of CHF 2.1 billion in 2022.

On May 4, 2023, SIKA MBCC DAY 1 CEREMONY kicked off in China. More than

200 employees from MBCC China, and

management and staff representatives

of Sika China gathered at the InterContinental Shanghai Expo to celebrate the

first day of the merger. At 10:30 a.m.,

the ceremony was officially inaugurated.

First of all, Mr. Thomas Hasler, CEO of

Sika AG, and Mr. Mike Campion, CEO of

Sika APAC, made a surprise appearance

from afar and extended warm greetings

through video to MBCC's employees who

had just joined the Sika family. Both of

them expressed great confidence and

expectations for the integration of complementary business models in the future. Mr. Leo Zhang,

President of Sika China, and Jonathon Sharkey, Senior Vice

President of MBCC Group, also delivered speeches, encouraging employees from the two companies to bond with

each other and embrace the market and customers with a

new look.

Greeted by cheers from all the audience and guests holding

inflatable sticks printed with the slogan, Mr. Leo Zhang,

President of Sika China, and Mr. Li Yongqiang, Chairman

and CFO of MBCC Solutions (China) Co., Ltd.together drew a

new blueprint for SIKA MBCC, with an \"Eagle\" breaking out

of the screen and flying to a new tomorrow, representing a

bright future for everyone.

With the acquisition, Sika will deliver on its ambition to

drive the sustainability transformation of the construction industry. It will offer a wider and more comprehensive

range of sustainable solutions to its customers that help

reduce their carbon footprint in construction. The combination of Sika and MBCC represents win-win cooperation.

We will strive to create growth opportunities that excites

everyone from this day on. As an innovation champion

in construction chemicals, we complement and buttress

each other. By merging our sales teams and distribution

channels, we will scale up local businesses, increase market

penetration, and get closer to customers.

西卡蓝盾卷材新产线

正式投产

西卡蓝盾湖北工厂两条新产线正式启动投产。值得介绍的是,其中一条为改性

沥青有胎防水卷材生产线,另一条可生产改性沥青无胎防水卷材。两条防水

卷材生产线均为国内先进的自动化生产设备,共能实现防水卷材年产量 2,400

万平方米,产品质量更有保障,生产效率更为高效。

Two new production lines of the Sika Landun Hubei Factory were officially

put into operation. It is worth noting that one of the two new production

lines produces modified asphalt tire waterproofing membranes while the

other produces modified asphalt tireless waterproofing membranes, both of

which boast domestically advanced automatic production equipment. They

can achieve a total membrane output of 24 million square meters per year,

with better product quality and higher production efficiency.

dealer and customer representatives to

witness this moment worth celebrating.

Two new production lines of the Sika

Landun Hubei Factory were officially put

into operation as Sika's management

team and relevant leaders cut a piece of

red ribbon representing prosperity.

Innovation Gathers Energy and Quality

Wins the Future. The launch of these two

production lines will enhance the production capacity of the Sika Landun Hubei

Factory and stabilize its product quality,

providing a more solid supply guarantee

for partners.

新中心(以下简称创新中心)封顶仪式在苏州工业园区圆满完成,

江苏省建设集团有限公司项目总监黎文欣先生,江苏省建设集团

有限公司项目经理汪涛先生和江苏天眷建设集团有限公司总监王

建东先生以及西卡中国总裁张烨炯先生率西卡中国管理层成员出

席封顶仪式。

西卡(中国)有限公司亚太区技术创新中心建筑封顶标志着

建造工程进入全新阶段。建成后,该创新中心将有助于西卡进一

步加速引入国际先进技术,并吸引更多高端技术人才。

On the morning of March 8, 2023, Sika China successfully

held the topping-out ceremony for its Asia-Pacific Technology Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as Innovation

Center) in Suzhou Industrial Park, attended by Mr. Li Wenxin,

Project Director of China Jiangsu Construction Group Corp. ;

Mr. Wang Tao, Project Manager of China Jiangsu Construction

Group Corp. ; Mr. Wang Jiandong, Director of Jiangsu Tianjuan

Construction Group Co., Ltd. ; Mr. Leo Zhang, President of Sika

China; and Sika China's management team.

The topping-out marks a brand-new stage of the construction

project. Upon its completion, the Innovation Center will help

Sika further accelerate the introduction of internationally

advanced technologies and attract more high-end technical

talents. In the future.

4 月 22 日,西卡与浙江独山港经济开发区管委会在瑞士苏黎

世举行西卡浙江新生产基地投资签约仪式。

西卡规划中的全新生产基地,位于浙江独山港经济开发区,

总投资约 1 亿美元,建成后将成为西卡中国在华规模最大的生产基

地。同时,新生产基地将引进西卡先进的产品线和生产技术,一

期建设产能将达到近10万吨。工程计划将于2023年年底开始施工,

并在 2025 年底投入运营。

On April 22nd, Sika and the Management Committee of Dushangang Economic Development Zone in Zhejiang held a

signing ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland for investment in Sika's new production base.

The new production base is located in the Dushan Port Economic Development Zone of Zhejiang Province, with a total

investment of approximately 100 million US dollars. After

completion, it will serve as the largest production base of Sika

China. The new production base will introduce Sika's advanced

product line and production technology. The first phase construction capacity will reach nearly 100,000 tons. The project

is planned to begin construction by the end of 2023 and be put

into operation by the end of 2025.

置身于内,仿佛进入古老神秘的城堡。深圳的时尚力量在

这里汇聚,潮流之都的活力在这里迸发,它就是玛丝菲尔

总部大厦。

In Shenzhen, a \"city of innovation\", there is a magical

and fashionable building gathering the fashion power of

the city and releasing the vitality of the fashion capital.

The design of the building makes us feel as if we are in

an ancient mysterious castle. It is called the Marisfrolg

Campus.

知名时装品牌玛丝菲尔(Marisfrolg)

的总部大楼坐落于深圳龙华区,是一座集办

公、展览、休闲、商业、酒店为一体的综合

体,也是艺术与几何建筑的混合体,不仅成

为中国顶尖的时装发布中心,也为中国建筑

史添上了浓墨重彩的一笔。

建筑内外保持着一种神韵的流动,从外

观看,它就像一片奇幻森林,藤蔓般的瓷片,

树叶覆盖其上,若隐若现。玻璃幕墙独特的

造型看起来既像叶片,又像羽翼,这座建筑

可与童话世界中的艺术品比肩,充满了神秘

气息。

大厦的整体造型模仿了自然界的生命形

态,如植物的根茎、叶片以及羽毛等造型,

并且,还安装了翅膀顶部、翅膀鸟尾区、海

盗船、豆瓣夹采光顶、叶茎采光顶和蝴蝶雨

棚等十多个造型幕墙系统,每一处设计,都

堪称独一无二。建筑使用天然石材、回收砖、

废弃的碎瓷片瓦缸、瓷砖、陶器等材料,将

环保理念体现得淋漓尽致。

大厦的幕墙承建商,深圳广田方特科

建集团副总工程师朱晓中先生曾介绍说:玛

丝菲尔总部大楼幕墙造型多变,幕墙系统繁

多,包括有钢框架玻璃幕墙、点式拉索玻璃

幕墙、全玻璃幕墙、玻璃采光顶、异形窗花

格栅以及玻璃楼梯等在内的总计二十多种幕

墙系统。而在大厦众多的系统中,酒店、中

庭和办公区域的幕墙系统堪称大厦建设过程

中突出的难点和重点。

酒店背叶片幕墙系统:其造型为双向

曲面空间异形表皮,建筑外形的复杂对幕墙

设计节点的可调节性以及曲面适应性要求极

高,施工过程中想要实现龙骨的精确定位也

十分困难,再加上幕墙板块为尺寸变化的三

角形玻璃,板块加工和板块安装的难度都很

大。

中庭采光顶系统:该系统包含空间异形

采光顶、立面拉索点式玻璃幕墙、立面框架

式玻璃幕墙等系统。其结构受力分析、转角

过渡节点、防水收口节点的设计是项目中突

出的重难点。幕墙节点设计需具备足够调节

能力,才能很好适应主体结构施工误差和幕

墙曲面造型的要求。

办公区域外围玻璃幕墙系统:该系统

位于“标准叶片”之间,洞口为异形尺寸。

玻璃外侧的“叶纹状装饰窗花”是本系统最

大的亮点,很好地体现了设计师将自然古朴

融入现代风格的理念。虽然设计效果新奇、

Located in Longhua District, Shenzhen,

the headquarters building of Marisfrolg, a

famous fashion brand, integrates office,

exhibition, recreation, commerce, and

hotel, presenting itself as a mix of art and

geometric architecture. It has not only

become China's top fashion show center,

but also remains of vital significance in the

history of Chinese architecture.

The building is internally and externally

full of verve. From the outside, it looks

like a fantasy forest, decorated with vinelike ceramic tiles and leaves, looming in

and out. The glass façade enjoys unique

shapes, resembling leaves and wings. The

building, full of mystery, is comparable to

a fairytale work of art.

Overall, the building is a mock-up of living things in nature, such as plant roots,

leaves, and feathers. In addition, it is

equipped with over ten unique facade systems, such as a wing-like roof, a wing-like

bird tail area, a pirate ship, a pod-like lighting roof, a leaf stem-like lighting roof, and

a butterfly-like canopy. The building uses

natural stone, recycled bricks, discarded

and smashed porcelain jars, ceramic tiles,

ceramic tiles, pottery, and other materials,

embodying the concept of environmental

protection to the fullest.

Mr. Zhu Xiaozhong, Deputy Chief Engineer

at Shenzhen Grandland Fangte Tech-construction Group as the facade contractor

of the building, said the Marisfrolg Campus is home to facades in different shapes

with over 20 facade systems, including

steel-framed glass facade, cable point

supported glass facade, all-glass facade,

glass lighting roof, special-shaped window

grilles, and glass stairs. In the building

construction process, it is important yet

difficult to design the facade systems for

the hotel, atrium, and office areas among

others.

Back-leaf facade system for the hotel: It

looks like a bi-directional curved surface

with special-shaped skin. The complexity

of architectural shape requires extremely

high adjustability of design nodes and

surface adaptation of the facade. In the

construction process, it is also difficult to

locate the keel accurately. In addition, the

facade consists of triangular glass panels

in different sizes, making it hard to process and install these panels.

Lighting roof system for the atrium: It

includes a special-shaped spatial lighting

roof, cable point supported glass facade,

frame-type glass facade, etc. In the

construction process, it is important yet

difficult to conduct a structural stress

analysis and design corner transition joints

and waterproof closing joints. The nodes

of the facade should be designed with an

adjustment ability enough to adapt to the

construction error of the main structure

and the curved facade modeling.

Glass facade system enveloping the office

area: It is located between the \"standard

leaves\" with irregularly shaped holes. The

exterior \"leaf-shaped decorative window

grille\" is the highlight of the system,

demonstrating the designer's idea of integrating nature and primitive simplicity

into modern style. Despite the novel and

eye-catching design, it poses a big challenge for the designer's skills.

Sika's solutions for facades: According to

the project design and building function

requirements, and after rigorous testing

and evaluation of the solutions, Sika's

facade team recommends Sikasil®WS

weatherproofing sealant, Sikacryl® fire-resistant sealant, Sikamembran® waterproofing membrane, etc., all of which were

finally applied in the Marisfrolg project.

Sikasil®WS weatherproofing sealant

conforms to the Silicone and Modified Silicone Building Sealants (GB/T 14683-2017)

and the ASTM C920. Due to its excellent

weather resistance and good compatibility with Sikasil®SG, the product has been

applied in China's projects for more than

30 years, providing excellent waterproof

sealing for the Marisfrolg Campus.

In terms of combustion performance,

Sikacryl® fire-resistant sealant meets the

EN 15651-1 F INT&ISO 11600 12.5 P standards and provides 2-hour fire resistance

according to EN 1366-3, with favorable

economic features. In addition, in terms

of the emission of harmful volatiles, it can

meet the Limits of Harmful Substances

in Adhesives for Interior Decoration Materials (GB 18583-2008). With regard to

the interlayer fire protection of facades

and through-penetration fire-stopping of

buildings, it provides more security guarantees for the Marisfrolg Campus.

Sikamembran® waterproofing membrane,

DIN EN 13984 2005 certified, provides a

comfortable living experience to the owners while saving energy and reducing carbon emissions. The product can be applied

to parapet edge covering, expansion joints,

and other parts that need waterproofing,

representing an excellent \"safety lock\"in

place to meet the strict waterproofing

requirements of the building.

黄茅海跨海通道起于珠海市高栏港经

济区平沙镇,与珠海高栏港高速公路、鹤洲

至高栏港高速公路相接,经平沙生态公园,

跨越黄茅海水域,穿过江门台山市赤溪镇,

终于台山市斗山镇,与西部沿海高速公路、

新台高速公路相接。全线总长 31 公里,采

用双向 6 车道高速公路标准建设,设计时速

100 公里 / 小时,设计寿命约 100 年。

跨海通道自珠海向台山方向主要构筑物

包括高栏港互通、东引桥、高栏港大桥、中

引桥、黄茅海大桥、西引桥、赤溪东互通。

其中,东引桥和西引桥泄洪区采用 60m 跨

径预应力混凝土节段梁,西引桥浅滩区采用

40m 跨径预应力混凝土小箱梁桥。

根据施工方案,跨海通道东引桥和西引

桥泄洪区由 2270 片单箱单室斜腹板节段箱

梁组成,节段梁宽 16.5m、长 3.8m,最大

节段梁重 199.8t,由运梁车陆运或运梁船海

运至现场,再由千吨级架桥机进行吊装。并

且,项目位处超强台风多发且正面登陆区域,

超宽海域通航复杂,海洋腐蚀环境恶劣,高

耐久等要求一直挑战着这个超级工程。

在 节 段 之 间 的 接 缝 处 理 上, 西 卡

Sikadur®-31 SBA 节段拼接胶发挥着重要作

用。具备优异综合性能的 Sikadur®-31 SBA

高质量地完成了接缝粘接和密封的任务,大

大提高了桥梁结构的安全性和耐久性。

黄茅海跨海通道项目预计 2024 年建成

通车,届时将与港珠澳大桥、深中通道、南

沙大桥、虎门大桥,共同组成大湾区跨海跨

江通道群,助力大湾区早日形成世界级交通

枢纽。亦将改变粤西沿海地区与湾区核心区

域通道单一的现状,对实现大湾区经济发展

向粤西和沿海地区辐射具有重要意义。

The Huangmaohai Sea-Crossing Channel

starts at Pingsha Town, Zhuhai Gaolan

Port Economic Zone, connects with

Zhuhai Gaolan Port Expressway and Hezhou-Gaolan Port Expressway, passes

through Pingsha Ecological Park, Huangmaohai Waters and Chixi Town, Taishan,

Jiangmen, intersects with the western

coastal expressway and Xintai Expressway, and ends at Doushan Town, Taishan.

With a total length of 31 kilometers, the

route adopts two-way six-lane expressway standards, with a design speed of 100

kilometers per hour and a design life of

about 100 years.

The main structures of the Sea-Crossing

Channel from Zhuhai to Taishan include

Gaolan Port Interchange, East Approach

Bridge, Gaolan Port Bridge, Middle Approach Bridge, Huangmaohai Bridge, West

Approach Bridge, and Chixi East Interchange. A 60-m prestressed-concrete

segmental bridge is used for the flood discharge area of the east and west approach

bridges, while a 40-m prestressed-concrete box girder bridge is used for the shoal

area of the west approach bridge.

According to the construction plan, the

flood discharge area of the east and west

approach bridges consists of 2,270 single-box single-chamber skewed segmental box girders. The segmental girders,

16.5m wide and 3.8m long and weighing

up to 199.8t, are first transported to the

site by a girder transporting the vehicle

by land or a girder transporting ship by

sea and then are hoisted by a 1,000-

ton level bridge girder erection machine.

Moreover, located in an area subject to

super typhoons and frontal landfall, the

project faces challenges, such as complex

conditions of navigation in the ultra-wide

sea area, marine corrosion, harsh environment, and high durability requirements.

Sika Sikadur®-31 SBA segmental bridge

adhesive plays an instrumental role in the

sealing of joints between concrete sections. Thanks to its excellent comprehensive properties, Sikadur®-31 SBA provides

high-quality joint bonding and sealing,

greatly improving the safety and durability of bridge structures.

The Huangmaohai Sea-Crossing Channel

project is expected to be completed and

open to traffic in 2024. At that time, it

will form a sea and river crossing channel

group in the Greater Bay Area together

with Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge,

Shenzhen–Zhongshan Bridge, Nansha

Bridge, and Humen Bridge, helping the

Greater Bay Area become a world-class

transportation hub as soon as possible.

It will also change the fact that there is

currently a single channel between the

Western Guangdong coastal zone and the

core area of the Greater Bay Area. Such

transformation is of great significance in

realizing the economic development of

the Greater Bay Area and its extension to

Western Guangdong and coastal areas.

Hangzhou Grand Theatre

杭州大剧院坐落在钱塘江边,该建筑由加拿大著名剧院设计师

设计,整体造型形似一轮弯月。与“太阳”杭州国际会议中心组成“日

月同辉”,优美的造型使其入选了 2005 年“全国十大建筑科技成就”

之列。

西卡屋面防水解决方案在建造初期便参与其中,如今已20余载,

仍然为杭州“一轮弯月“的屋顶”遮风挡雨”。

Located beside the Qiantang River, Hangzhou Grand Theatre

was designed by a famous Canadian theatre designer, with a

general shape resembling the crescent moon. Forming the \"Sun

and Moon\" with Hangzhou International Conference Center in the

shape of the Sun, it was listed among the \"Top 10 Architecture

Technological Achievements of China\" in 2005 with its elegant

shape.

Sika's waterproof roofing solution was adopted during the preliminary stage of construction. To this day, after over 2 decades,

it still shelters the roof of the \"crescent moon.\"

杭州来福士中心位于杭州钱江新城核心位置,总建筑面积超过

38 万平方米,毗邻杭州市民中心、杭州大剧院和杭州国际会议中心。

设计理念源于钱塘潮,将借涌潮现象的优美曲线及层层相迭的自然

形态,以现代美学的表现手法,展示出与周边环境相呼应的建筑形态,

已成为钱江新城闪亮的地标性建筑。

Located in the core of Qianjiang New Town, Hangzhou Raffles

City, with a total construction area exceeding 380,000m2

the Qiantang River, it integrates the beautiful lines and natural

shapes of tides into buildings fitting with the surrounding environment through modern aesthetics. It has become a shining

Huanglong Sports Centre

黄龙体育中心是浙江省规模最大、功能最全的现代化体育设施,

是 FIFA2007 年中国女足世界杯以及未来杭州亚运会的比赛场地之

一。体育馆以独特的建筑形态,充分表现其意境,网球中心可开启

屋盖,为浙江体育建筑之首例。

作为杭州亚运会的比赛场地之一,黄龙体育中心对五环广场进

行了升级改造。西卡屋面防水解决方案参与其中,为五环之光保驾

护航。

Huanglong Sports Centre is the largest modern sports facility

with the most comprehensive functions in Zhejiang Province. It is

also one of the venues for the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup and

the future Asian Games Hangzhou 2022. The Centre, featuring

unique shapes, fully demonstrated its artistic conception. The

Tennis Center can open its roof, which is the first of all sports constructions in Zhejiang.

As one of the venues for the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, the

Centre upgraded and renovated the Five-Ring Square, in which

Sika's roofing solution was used to safeguard the Five-Ring

Square.

Zhejiang Exhibition Hall

浙江展览馆,地处杭州市中心武林商圈的核心区块——武林广

场,创建于 20 世纪 60 年代末,杭州市民称之为“红太阳展览馆”,

也是第七批省级文物保护单位。

浇筑由 SikaGrout® ES 拌制的自密实混凝土,与砌体砖墙复

合在一起,大大提高其抗震、抗剪能力。通过 Sikadur®-31 STP、

Sikadur®-52 STP 将各种型钢粘贴在混凝土梁、柱上面,提高梁柱的

抗弯、抗剪能力,满足承受增加荷载的要求。通过系统性地加固,

一幢几十年前建造的老旧建筑,不仅提高了承载能力,满足最新的

抗震规范,而且焕发“青春”,可以继续为这座城市再服务几十年。

Located in Wulin Square, the core area of Wulin Business Circle

in downtown Hangzhou, Zhejiang Exhibition Hall, established

in the late 1960s, is reputed as the \"Red Sun Exhibition Hall\" by

Hangzhou citizens, and is also among the 7th batch of provincial

cultural heritage sites.

SikaGrout® ES self-compacting concrete was adopted in casting

to be fully bonded with the brick walls, to greatly improve its capacity in shock and shear resistance. In addition, Sikadur®-31 STP

and Sikadur®-52 STP were used to attach different structural

steels to the concrete beams and pillars, to improve their capacity

in bending and shear resistance and satisfy the requirements for

added loads. The systematic reinforcement not only improved

the capacity loads of such buildings constructed several decades

ago to meet the latest anti-seismic standard, but also renovated

the building and enabled it to serve this city for another few decades.

杭州萧山国际机场位于浙江省杭州市东部 , 距市中心 27 公里 ,

是中国重要的干线机场、国际定期航班机场、对外开放的一类航空

口岸和国际航班备降机场。2016年萧山机场年旅客吞吐量突破3,000

万人次,并为 G20 杭州峰会的成功举办作出了重要贡献。

为了打造全新的国际化城市门户,自 2018 年起,杭州机场三

期工程开工建设,新建建筑物面积达 150 万平方米以上,总投资规

模 270 亿元。西卡几乎参与了整个 T4 航站楼的建设环节,西卡屋面、

防水、地坪以及幕墙解决方案全部应用于工程之中。

Located in east Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Hangzhou International

Airport is 27km away from downtown. It serves as a significant

trunk line airport in China, an international airport for regular

flights, a Class I airport for opening-up, and an alternate airport

for international flights. In 2016, the annual passenger throughput of the Airport exceeded 30 million people times. The Airport

also made tremendous contributions to the successful holding of

the G20 Hangzhou Summit.

To build into a brand-new international metropolis, in 2018, the

Airport launched its Phase III construction. The newly built area

exceeded 1,500,000m2

, with a total investment reaching RMB

27 billion. Sika participated in nearly all the constructions of the

从而避免电池可能发生的爆炸和起火事故。

Phase I of Volkswagen Anhui Core Parts Industrial Park is a battery system

factory, where the environment of the battery workshop needs to be clean,

fireproof, explosion-proof, anti-static, and anti-corrosion to avoid possible

explosions and fire accidents of the battery.

To satisfy such demands, Sika Flooring and Coating Team recommended

the flooring solution combining modified epoxy self-leveling mortar

坪通常采用细石混凝土找平层,可是,翘曲空鼓开裂却是同类地

面普遍存在的质量顽疾。

The Drug Distribution Center of Yifeng Pharmacy is mostly

constructed with concrete structures, and the flooring of such

structures usually adopts fine stone concrete leveling. But warping,

hollowing, and cracking are common and tough quality issues for

such floors.

Drawing on its industrial leading concrete technology, Sika applied

its additive compound technology and concrete mix proportion

technology in the flooring, fully satisfied the demands of flooring

concrete for high compatibilities, such as low contractility,

Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) officially established the

high-end new energy SUV project (Dongfeng M Department). The

project emerges as a vital link for DFM to actively implement the

concept of \"carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.\" The urgent

and difficult project must meet strict requirements, and its

construction was \"extremely hard.\"

Upon the comprehensive understanding of relevant demands,

Sika Flooring Team, through repeated demonstrations,

customized for the M Department the special concrete for

flooring featuring low contractility and crack resistance, and

Assembly Workshop, Welding Workshop, and other workshops.

合兴食品新建车间和辅房工程位于江苏省苏州市吴江区,总投资

为 1.98 亿,实现每年 2.6 万吨的鸡精产量。食品工厂的地坪系统是使

用环境要求最为严苛的场所之一,不仅需要满足各种功能需求,并且对

于安全和卫生的标准堪称容不得半点马虎。

根据业主对于地面的要求,西卡依托先进的整体地坪技术,从地

面专用混凝土配合比设计,到面层系统设计和地面构筑物的细部处理,

实现地面定制化和精细化打造,为业主提供一站式,功能适宜,耐久可

靠的地坪系统整体解决方案。

The newly built workshop and auxiliary plant project of Hexing Food,

located in Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, enjoys a

total investment of RMB 198 million and realizes an annual production

of chicken powder of 26,000 tons. Food factory is one of the places

with the strictest requirements for flooring systems. It needs to meet

not only the functional demands of different kinds but also relevant

standards of safety and sanitation.

Based on the customer's demands for flooring and relying on its

advanced integral flooring technology, Sika started from the design of

the mix proportion of the special concrete for flooring to the design of

the surface system and detailed processing of ground structures. By

doing so, it aims to realize customized and refined construction and

provide the customer with a one-stop, functional, wear-proof, and

reliable integrated solution for the flooring system.

友达光电(昆山)有限公司正式启动 L6K A 栋

PHASE2-1 洁净室扩充工程。为了满足工程要求,业主

采用了华夫桶铝合金盖板防静电环氧自流平地面系统,

在安装精度上,必须确保与环氧防静电自流平地面完美

契合,且整体平整度误差小于 1 毫米。同时,还须确保

华夫桶铝合金盖板到防静电环氧自流平地面导电电阻始

终合格,可谓“挑剔”。

本项目所有地坪系统均采用西卡高性能、高环保的

低 VOC/AMC 环氧材料系统,材料均通过 CSM 洁净室材

料系统认证及欧洲 IPA 联盟认证。

AU Optronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. officially initiated the expansion of the PHASE2-1

Clean Room, Building A, L6K. To satisfy the requirements of the project, the customer

adopted the waffle bucket aluminum alloy cover plate anti-static epoxy self-leveling

flooring system. Regarding installation accuracy, the epoxy anti-static self-leveling floor

must be perfectly fitted with the deviation of overall flatness being less than 1mm. In

the meantime, the resistance from the waffle bucket aluminum alloy cover plate to the

anti-static epoxy self-leveling flooring must always be qualified, which poses \"strict\"

requirements.

All flooring systems of the project adopted Sika's high-performance and highly

environmental low-VOC/AMC epoxy materials which have all passed the certification of

CSM clean room material system and that of Europe IPA.

At the original site of Kunming's previous landmark the \"Workers

Cultural Palace\", a new landmark, the Eye of Spring Business Center,

with a height of 407m, will carve the most beautiful skyline of the

city... The Eye of Spring Business Center, aiming at becoming the city's

landmark and a high-end business circle, imposed strict requirements

on the quality of the garage.

To satisfy both the functional and aesthetic demands, based on the

positioning and features of the project, Sika took full advantage

of its experiences in construction under more complex and severe

environments and conditions and its product families, capitalized on

the characteristics of flooring of the garage, and formulated proper

systematic solutions. Furthermore, it guided the customer to visit

successful cases of similar business forms several times and eventually

won high appraisal and recognition from the customer. Consequently,

it received the approval to participate in the construction of the new

landmark of Kunming.

中,紧邻粤港澳西岸产业发展带。产业园依照FDA和欧盟标准进行建造,

占地面积约 330 亩,总建筑面积达 38 万平方米。

经过西卡团队与业主的多次沟通与交流,现场打样与论证,最终

确定西卡整体地坪系统,即基层采用西卡地坪专用混凝土,严控混凝土

ApicHope Unirise Biomedicine Intelligent Park, located within the

Bio Valley planned by Nansha District, Guangzhou, is next to the

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao West Bank Industrial Development Belt.

The Park, built as per the standards of the FDA and the EU, occupies an

area of approximately 22 hectares (330mu), with a total construction

area of 380,000m2

.

After several communications and exchanges with the customer, as well

as site demonstration and proofing, Sika finally determined the overall

flooring system. It used the special flooring concrete of Sika for the

base to strictly control concrete quality and flatness and applied surface

products that met the relevant needs of different functional zones and

passed the certification of green products.

People's demands for the quality of concrete have been lifted as modern

construction techniques, especially concrete, are booming and commercialized.

In order to improve concrete workability, mechanical properties and durability,

the development and improvement of concrete admixtures have received

西藏 S201 线克日至古巴村段建设项目

是位于西藏高海拔地区的一项重要工程。

该项目全长 23 公里,采用双向两车道,路

基宽度为 6.5 米。为了确保道路的稳定性和

耐久性,在路面设计上采用了 20cm 级配

碎石底基层、20cm 水稳基层和 5cm Ac-16

沥青面层,并在崩坍体路段使用了水泥混

凝土面层。然而,由于施工现场交通不便利,

需要运输大量的细集料和碎石到达现场。

在 这 个 项 目 中, 西 卡 公 司 提 供 的

Sika® Plast ®-1220 减水剂起到了重要作用。

该产品作为混凝土外加剂是改善混凝土性

能的一种添加物,在各个与混凝土相关的

The construction of Keri-Guba Village

section of Highway S201 in Tibet is an

important project in a high altitude

location in Tibet. This is a 23km-long,

two-way two-lane road with a subgrade

width of 6.5m. In order to ensure stability and durability, the road is paved with

a 20cm-thick graded crushed stone base

course, a 20cm-thick cement-stabilized

crushed stone base course and a 5cmthick Ac-16 asphalt surface course, and

its collapsed section is covered with

a surface course of cement concrete.

However, it is necessary to transport a

lot of fine aggregates and crushed stone

to the worksite due to traffic inconvenience.

Sika® Plast®-1220 water-reducing admixture plays an important role in this

product is added to improve concrete

Looking within industrial sectors, highstrength structural adhesive is enough to

replace some mechanical connections such

as the welded and riveted ones, and it also

allows structural components to have

higher performance. Bonding without

welding or bonding with mechanical combination has become a trend in technological fields. Thin sheet welding is prone to

such problems as substrate deformation,

substrate damage, high residual internal

stress, large weld seam grinding workload,

and requiring full-length welding, visual

inspection, extra truing for many applications, etc. These problems can be significantly reduced or eliminated with the

usage of bonding, which can improve the

productivity by about 75%, thus saving a

lot of labor costs.

The Technical Specification for Green Roof

(JGJ 155-2013) specifies that \"green roofs

shall be waterproofed in compliance with

the Grade 1 waterproofing requirements,

and be covered at least with root puncture

resistant waterproof membranes\".

In order to meet the market demand for

\"thinner materials, more convenient construction, reliable and safe waterproofing\",

Sika Landun has developed root puncture

resistant waterproof membranes with

1.5mm thickness, which are resistant to

both plant root puncture and water.

CPC non-asphalt-based durable and reactive root puncture resistant waterproof

membrane has innovatively combined

non-asphalt-based self-adhesive and

high-quality chemical root-resistant agent

as the glue layer, with a cross-laminated

strong film with ultra-high elongation.

This maximizes the properties of the two

materials, thus creating a high-quality

waterproof material featuring super bond,

bidirectional tear resistance, aging resistance, environmental protection, energy

saving and root puncture resistance.

strength between them is 2-3 times that

of common asphalt-based membrane,

indicating stronger cohesion and more efficient waterproofing.

The product only needs wet lay-up or

self-adhibiting construction, depending

on the actual situations, which is safe and

convenient without open flame. Even in

humid conditions or when the base surface is not leveled, the construction can go

on, and there is no need to prime. The construction enjoys a high degree of freedom

and is not affected by the weather. This

advantage can be more prominent in rainy

seasons, guaranteeing the construction to

be finished in time.

有一定的危害,尤其在组件厂的固化房中,

经常性堆积着成百上千块组件同时固化且通

风程度又难以得到保障,员工长时间处于此

环境中影响健康的概率将大大增加;

随着产品研发技术不断进步,脱醇型产

品性能不断得到改善和提升,完全可以和脱

肟型产品进行比较,从环保角度来说,甲醇

相对于丁酮肟对人体造成的危害大大降低。

2021 年 4 月, 欧 盟 委 员 会 提 议 在

REACH 法规 (EC) No 1907/2006 附录 XVII 的

附件 2、4 和 6 中增加 CMR 物质,明确将 2-

丁酮肟列为 1B 类致癌物质,并于 2022 年 3

月 1 日起执行,这一法案的提出,势必对硅

酮环保性能提出更高的要求。

With more than 20 years of experience in

solar energy applications, Sika provides

An Innovative and Green Product -

Alkoxy Type Silicone Sealant

In the field of photovoltaic solar energy,

whether it is a large PV power plant or a

home PV system, the most fundamental component is PV module, whose production needs sealing and fixation with

adhesives like many assemblies. Due to

long-term outdoor aging, silicone has

become indispensable for production of

PV modules.

According to different curing mechanisms, common neutral silicone sealants

in the market can be divided into oxime

type and alkoxy type, which emit 2-butanone oxime and methanol respectively. The oxime type has become the

major room temperature vulcanization

(RTV) silicone sealant in China because

of its good bonding performance, short

surface drying time, fast vulcanizing

and good storage stability. However, the

2-butanone oxime emitted from vulcanization of oxime silicone sealant is an

organic solvent with a pH higher than 7,

which is harmful to human health. Especially in a module curing room where

hundreds of modules are often piled

up and cured at the same time, making

it difficult to ensure good ventilation.

Therefore, employees' long-term exposure to such environmental hazard will

greatly influence their health.

Due to R&D advancement, the performance of alkoxy type has been improved

and upgraded, making it comparable to

oxime type. Moreover, the harm caused

by methanol to human health is greatly

reduced compared with 2-butanone oxime.

In April 2021, the European Commission

proposed to add CMR substances to

Appendices 2, 4 and 6 of Annex XVII to

REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006,

and to classify 2-butanone oxime as

a carcinogen category 1B, which took

effect on March 1, 2022. Such adjustments to the regulation have surely put

forward higher requirements for the

environmental performance of silicones.

showing mature application experience

in terms of reliability, stability and environmental protection.

traffic facilities and industrial buildings,

which need to be properly treated and

sealed in order to ensure building waterproofing, fire prevention, sound insulation,
