盐 城 地 处 太 平 洋 西 岸、 中 国 东 部 黄 海 之 滨、 江 苏 省 沿

海 中 部， 介 于 北 纬32° 34′～ 34° 28′、东经 119° 27′～120° 54′之

间，土地面积 1.69 万平方公里，海域面积 1.89万平方公里，海岸线

长582公里、占江苏61%，沿海滩涂面积46 万公顷、占江苏 70%，

是江苏省土地面积最大、海岸线最长的设区市。下辖5县1市 3 区和

盐城经济技术开发区、盐南高新区。

Yancheng (north latitude: 32 ° 34’~ 34 ° 28’, east longitude: 119 ° 27’~

120 ° 54’) is located on the west coast of the Pacific Ocean, on the shore of the

Yellow Sea in eastern China and in the middle of the coast of Jiangsu Province.

It occupies a land area of 16,900 square kilometers and a sea area of 18,900 square

kilometers. It has a coastline of 582 kilometers and mudflat area of 460,000

hectares,accounting for 61% and 70% of those of Jiangsu respectively. It is the

municipal city with the largest land area and the longest coastline in Jiangsu

Province. It governs five counties, one county-level city, three districts, Yancheng

Economic and Technological Development Zone Yannan Hi-tech Zone.

面积位居江苏第一，全市林木覆盖率 24.7%。空气质量综合指数全国领先，“盐城好空气”已经成为一张靓丽的城市名片

和生态品牌。

Yancheng boasts three ecological systems, namely, sea, wetland and forest. With the largest coastal wetland in the western coast of the Pacific

Ocean and at the edge of Asia Continent and broad lake wetland in Lixiahe Region, it is reputed as “Oriental Wetland City” and “Hometown of Deer and

Cranes”. In Yancheng, there are two national natural reserves for rare birds and milu deer, it is a member of UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere

Programme.Habitat of migratory birds in the Yellow (Bohai) Sea of China was successfully included in World Heritage List, which is the first of China in

coastal wetland heritage. The total afforestation area in five years ranked first in Jiangsu,with the forest coverage rate of 24.7%，and comprehensive

盐城高新区成立于2006年4月，2012年11月获批省级高新区，

2015年2月经国务院批准升格为国家高新区。近年来，盐城高新区深

入实施创新驱动发展战略，立足“高”“新”定位，区域创新体系不

断完善、高端产业集群持续壮大、创新创业环境日益优化、载体配套

水平逐步提升，先后创成国家级产城融合示范区、国家知识产权试点

园区、国家双创示范基地、国家创新型产业集群（试点）。
