XETDZ covers an area of 125 sq km and consists of 3 parts:

Relying on the radiation advantage of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway Exit, the

Kunshan German Industrial Park

Kunshan German Industrial Park is a significant platform for European

and American investors in the Yangtze River Delta Region. Founded in

2005, Kunshan German Industrial Park (KSGIP) covers an area of 15

square kilometers. It is located in Kunshan, the hinterland of the Yangtze

River Delta Region and top one of China's best 100 country-level cities on

comprehensive strength. West of Shanghai and east of Suzhou, KSGIP is

very close to Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway and Beijing-Shanghai

Expressway. It is one of the first batch of Sino-German SMEs Cooperation

Zone and a member of Sino-German Advisory Committee on Economy of the

Ministry of Commerce.

KSGIP has completed 200,000 square meters quality and standard

workshops in a high standard and professional way to satisfy the demands

of German companies. The whole process service mode of incubation,

accelerated development, plant built-to-suit, land for self-construction

is adopted to attract German investors. At present, the total number of

European and American enterprises in the park is 190, among which 100

are German enterprises including Eisenmann and KHS. There are 7 Fortune

Global 500 companies. Based on the three tens of billions of leading

industries - Smart Manufacturing, High-end Food, Trade & Logistic, German

Industrial Park is also aiming on biomedical and artificial intelligence

sectors, and establishing a "3+2+X" new industry development system.

Smart Factory

Smart Factory Kunshan is an open platform for demonstration, integration

and marketing of Industry 4.0 technologies in a unique real-life production

environment in China. We have a clear focus on the needs of SMEs. Smart

Factory Kunshan is a joint venture of Startup Factory with Kunshan City

Government established in 2017 and aims to create the largest Sino-Foreign

Industry 4.0 Lab in China. Under the patronage of Germany's Federal Ministry

for Economic Affairs and Energy, Smart Factory Kunshan is embedded into

Green Business Incubator is a cooperation between Zhangpu government and Startup Factory (Kunshan) Co., Ltd.
