Homework Policy

Purpose: This homework policy outlines guidelines for teachers, students, and parents within Beijing

Aidi School, ensuring homework assignments are meaningful, relevant, and support overall learning

Homework Objectives: Assignments should:

Academic Reporting

Class Adjustments

Duties and Suggestions

At the end of every second semester, students receive academic reports from the school. The report shows

the assessment results and grades of students at this stage. During the semester, class teacher and subject

suggestions. Subject teachers can further discuss learning progress and give suggestions to parents and

students at scheduled parents’ meetings. If there are some particular or urgent problems for parents and

students, a meeting is arranged with class teachers and subject teachers to resolve the problem.

Aidi School is committed to helping students to plan their academic development reasonably. Parents and

students discuss and determine upgrading or downgrading so as to ensure students’ grade levels conform

to their physical and mental development and academic level.

Upgrades

When students meet the academic and moral education development requirements set by the school,

they can ascend to the next grade in the new academic year.

Retention

When a student fails to meet the conditions set by the school, and teachers agree that the student's

retention is conducive to his/her physical, mental and academic development, the school will propose

retention, and then decide in consultation with the parents and student. Retention is a serious decision, but

can be the right choice for individual students.

Aidi School always pays close attention to each student's performance both in life and study, and propose

retention only after considering all of the following:

·Design different types of homework based on students’ different levels and needs;

教师职责:

Attendance and Absences

Course Selection Procedures(Not applicable to all the departments)

Suspension of Schooling and Dropping Out

To meet the basic requirements of the course grade, students of Aidi High School should maintain at least

85% attendance. Too many absences can lead to retaking the course or repeating the grade (retention).

休学及退学:

为满足课程评分的基本要求,爱迪高中部学生应保持至少 85% 的出勤率。过多次数的缺勤可导致重读该课

进行谈话。 由于参与学校活动及重大疾病的治疗或住院导致的课堂缺勤将不计入缺勤总数之中。尽管如此,

如学生已有过多次数的缺勤,学校将可能不给予其通过某些课程及按时毕业的机会。

对于突发原因导致的缺勤(如疾病或受伤),家长需要在缺勤的当日上午联系班主任老师,并签署请假申

请。寄宿生如生病,应联系班主任。如学生因生病在白天上课时离开学校,需要由班主任征得家长允许后

我校的课程体系旨在为学生提供多种选择,满足其不同的学习需求。部分学部学生可自主选择下一学年要

上一学年结束前,学校将会统计各学生希望在下学期修习的课程,请学生在指导老师的监督和指导下完成。

学校将根据所有选课学生的需求安排班次,力求尽可能多的满足学生的学习要求,但不能保证所有学生的

需求都能够被满足。以下三种情况学生将在开课前被要求调换所选课程:

1. 学生不能满足该课程的学前要求;

2. 学生所选课程的时间发生冲突;

3. 该课程选课人数未达到学校开课标准。

在这三种情况下,学生将在老师的指导下调整难度或课程选择。

学生在学年开始两周内,如果感觉自己所选课程不适合自己学习并希望更换所选课程,可以在此期间内填

写“课程更换申请表”并根据表上的流程征得相关人员同意,完成该流程后方可进入新的班级上课。需要

注意的是,每个学生在每学年开始的两周内只有一次机会申请调整课程,但申请调整的课程数量不限。

休学

学生如在本学年内因健康或其他个人原因无法达到出勤标准,但仍希望在学校保留就读资格以便日后继续

学习的,可申请休学。在此情况下,如学生和家长达成一致决定休学,需填写“休学申请表”并按照该表

完成流程后方可休学,如因病休学者需提交三甲医院的诊断证明。学生可于决定返校后填写“返校申请表”,

完成该表流程后方可返校上学。关于返校的时间节点,学生需在休学前咨询相关教务长以确定合适的时机

回到学校,从而保证学生的课程衔接和连贯性。

退学

学生如决定永久离开学校,可在和家长达成一致后提交退学申请,完成该流程后学校将不再履行“北京爱

迪学校与学生 / 家长合同书”上的一切职责。之后如学生决定回校就读,一切事务按照新生入学流程办理。

如学生严重违反学校规定或多次违反学校纪律且屡教不改的,学校有权对学生进行劝退,一切手续按照退

学处理。

Integrated Management

Student Card

The Student Card is a card for daily school life and used in restaurants, convenience stores, to enter and

exit, and for examinations. Students should look after their cards carefully.

· The Student Card is registered and activated for each student at school enrollment by the Card Services

Center.

· The card must not be defaced and the photograph must not be covered or obscured.

· Students swipe the card at the entrance gate when leaving or returning to school. Students are prohibited

to leave or enter school without the student card.

· If the student card is lost, students must contact their form teacher to start the process of receiving a

replacement card, then report the loss to the Card Services Center immediately. A card replacement fee

will be charged for each card.

· Students must return the student card to the Moral Education Department if the leaving school, dropping

out, withdrawing from school, or going abroad.

Student’s Identity Card is issued by the Student Service Center at the school enrollment.

· Shoes: The regular school uniforms can be paired with clean and tidy sports shoes;

Students are required to wear black leather shoes when wearing the dress uniform.

Students are not allowed to wear slippers in class.

Students should wear school uniforms on weekends and during holidays when they are on campus.

学生一卡通

学生证

在校着装

学生一卡通(简称“学生卡”)是学校正常生活(餐厅、超市消费、进出校门、参加考试)的通用卡片,

学生须妥善保管。

·新生入学注册,由卡务中心为每位学生制作学生卡。

·学生卡不得涂改,头像不得遮盖。

·学生卡是学生出入校门的唯一凭证,学生请假离校、周末离校及返校都须在门岗刷卡,没有学生卡禁止

学生出入。

·学生因不慎遗失学生卡,需立即到班主任处办理补卡流程后及时到卡务中心挂失,补卡费用需自理。

·学生毕业离校、退学、休学、出国前需将学生卡交还德育处。

新生入学注册,由学校学生服务中心负责办理学生证。

校服是学校规范校园环境和宣传校园文化的标杆,我们之所以对在校着装要求做出规定,是希望学生为自

己感到自豪,在校园内参加任何活动,都应该穿着相应的校服,且深刻领会校服上校徽的深刻含义。因此,

我们要求学生不得对校服进行任何修改或装饰。

学生有责任每天按照在校着装标准穿着。

学生可以在学年中的任何时间根据需要购买额外的校服。

·春秋季校服:白色运动外套 + 白色长裤。

·夏季校服:统一穿着学校发放的短袖T 恤和短裤/短裙。

·冬季校服:白色校服 + 藏蓝/灰色羽绒服;西装校服 + 藏蓝/灰色羽绒服。

·西装校服:学生在校内外参加正式活动时须着西装。穿着西装时必须全套穿齐(男生:西装外套 + 白衬

衫 + 领带 + 西裤 + 黑色皮鞋,女生:西装外套 + 白衬衫 + 领结 + 百褶裙 + 黑色皮鞋)。

·鞋子:日常校服着装可搭配干净整洁的运动鞋;

穿着正装时,要求学生必须配以黑色皮鞋。

不允许穿拖鞋上课。

周末出入学校以及假期出入学校都应着校服进出校园。

Attendance and absence requirements

Management rules for weekend leave, leaving school

and returning to school

· The school bell ringing signals the start and end of each class. Students should not be late for class or

leave early. Students who are late for class must get permissions before entering the classroom.

· Items which are not related to study are not allowed on desks. Students are not allowed to eat, read

extracurricular books, or sleep in class. Students are not allowed to leave the classroom without the

permission of the teacher.

· Students should be quiet and orderly in class. They should raise their hands when asking and answering

teachers' questions. Students should cooperate with the teacher to maintain order in the classroom and a

positive learning environment.

The attendance policy is an important requirement for effective classroom teaching. In order to cultivate

students' awareness of rules of conduct, develop time management skills, and create an excellent

Aidi School aims to guide students to learn to treat others sincerely and respectfully, to help each other, to

positive and harmonious learning environment.

Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. It is forbidden to gang up and fight, or to use improper

offensive or inflammatory speech. No violence, intimidation or bullying is allowed on campus. When

contraventions or disputes occur, they are dealt with promptly and in a reasonable manner so as to avoid

Students who violate discipline and reach a serious warning are suspended from school to return home for

多次违纪并多次教育不改正,且在学校产生不良影响,处分升级达到校长警告,开除学籍,留校查看后没

有悔改意愿,记录并开除离校。

后四种处分由违纪学生写出书面检查,班主任在调查研究的基础上,汇总资料上报部门领导,根据实际情

Residency Criteria

The School House Management Center is responsible for the management of students in their school

dormitories, including creating an optimistic living atmosphere, guiding the daily behavior of students, and

developing their independence. The center focuses on cultivating students’ independence, self-reliance

and communication skills as well as their self-management, which are fundamental and necessary for their

future development. Therefore, the center is a vital part of the school’s cultivation of student’s life skills and

shaping of responsible citizens.

The boarding experience is an important part of school life. Aidi School not only provides students with

a comfortable living environment, but also trains them to develop good living habits, independence,

teamwork and social skills as well as an appreciation of diversity and a wider, more global awareness.

Aidi School aims to create a warm living and social environment with a rich sense of belonging. The

apartments are staffed with several dormitory teachers and a building manager who are responsible for

supervising and guiding the students, helping them to adapt to boarding life. They are also in charge of the

building and dormitory management, dealing with the students’ personal affairs in the apartments, and

carrying out various dormitory activities. Aidi School also gives students some responsibility, in abiding by

the dormitory regulations and actively participating in the activities. The other students in the apartment

on well with each other and have a sense of ownership as well as a willingness to actively participate in

boarding community life.

Rooms and Facilities:

Aidi School provides students with dormitories accommodating 4 or 6 people per room. Each dormitory

room is equipped with a water heater, air conditioner, mosquito-killing lamp, mirror, wardrobes, safe,

cabinets, bed, mattress and an independent bathroom and shower.

Distribution Criteria:

The distribution of students’ dormitory is based on the type of residency card each student has (As Beijing r

esidents will leave on the weekend and we feel it best to group them together). One set of bedding includ

ing a pillow, a quilt, a mattress pad, a bed sheet, a bed cover and a pillow case is available when checkin

g in. We suggest that all the students should check their belongs when checking in. Students are not recom

mended to bring items irrelevant to school life into the dormitory.

公寓房间和配置:

爱迪学校将为学生提供 4 人间或 6 人间的入住标准,每间宿舍都固定配有: 24h热水、空调、灭蚊灯、

镜子、干湿分离的独立卫生间和淋浴间、衣柜、保险柜、鞋柜、床、床垫。

分配标准:

学生公寓采取北京卡和外地卡分开入住的标准。入住学生公寓时可在生活老师处领取一套床上用品(枕头、

被、褥子各一件,三件套 2 套)。学校希望学生在入住时应对自己的物品进行甄别,与学校生活无关的物

品不建议学生带到公寓内。

On Sunday to Thursday evenings from 19:00 to 21:00 students study in their classrooms, in the expectation

student dormitory area is a place for students to study for themselves. There is one self-study room on each

学校在学生公寓的每个层的都设有休闲区,用作公共活动空间。闲暇之时,学生可在这里和同学聚会、讨

论生活及分享心得。学生有责任维护公共活动空间的整洁安静,以方便其他学生的使用和休息。

周日到周四晚上 19:00-21:00,学校会安排学生在教室上自习,学校期望学生可以在这段时间能够合理

安排时间并能高效的完成一天的学习任务,因此宿舍区的自习室只是学生暂时自习的场所,学校在每一个

楼层都配有一间自习室,自习室的开放时间为 21:00-24:00(周日晚 - 周四晚),周末可全天使用。

学生需要每周参加由本楼层组织的宿舍会议,讨论宿舍本周各项议题,学生公寓将为学生开展生活技能课

程,课程包括物品的整理,电器的使用,药品的常识,自救技能,空间装饰等特色课程。课程以公寓内学

生为主导,生活老师和楼长为辅配合开展的形式。学校开设生存技能课程目的在于培养学生良好的生活习

学校采取男女生分开区域入住形式,男生不得进入女生公寓,女生不得进入男生公寓,在公寓内只能在自

己楼层活动,不得擅自进入其他楼层和他人房间。

学生公寓属于学校财产,宿舍生活老师,楼长及管理中心人员有权进入学生宿舍对其进行监督和检查,学

生需要保持房间的清洁,整理房间和维持房间卫生是作为爱迪学生职责的一部分,也是培养学生良好的生

The convenience store provides necessary supplies and food for teachers and students. School

convenience stores do not sell carbonated drinks and other unhealthy food in the interests of student

health. The school carries out regular inspections of the goods in the convenience stores to ensure the

health of students and reasonable charges. Convenience stores are closed during class hours to prevent

students from having snacks in class.

The library creates an excellent learning and cultural atmosphere, and can be used for group work and

The IT Department is responsible for monitoring and security control of the entire school network. It assists

students and teachers with problems related to digital devices and the Internet, as well as providing

students with a ‘passport photo’ service.

The International Department is committed to choosing the most appropriate path to studying abroad for

each student, and has established direct partnerships with universities in Australia, the UK, the United States,

Canada, New Zealand, and Hong Kong, among others. It provides professional services such as overseas

study consultation, university applications, visa applications, accommodation and airport pickups, travel,

and family visits. The International Department’s experienced and professional team take the stress and

confusion out of the process of studying abroad for students and parents.

The Aidi School Clinic provides a 24 hour service for students, with basic physical examinations and the

teachers to contact parents to take students out of school for medical treatment. In the interest of student

only ever shared with head teachers or relevant personnel where it would otherwise compromise the safety

To facilitate student comfort, health, hygiene, and develop self-management skills, the laundry offers a

Parents' Meetings

Parents' meetings are an important channel for schools and families to communicate with each other.
