吥Ɤ㺕露

First of all, I would like to welcome you to our family! I am excited to be opening

Harrow Haikou, bringing the rich traditions and history of Harrow School in the UK

into a new, vibrant and culturally rich Chinese context.

Educating children is my passion along with creating vibrant school communities. I have

been in education for over twenty years and I have been with the Harrow-branded education for almost six years. Using my experience, I will lead the Harrow Haikou sta! to

deliver excellence in education from operations to security to our teaching and learning

programmes.

Our vision for Harrow Haikou is to provide a high-quality education which blends

British and Chinese educational philosophies and curricula whilst developing the next

generation of leaders.

We understand that good schools give their pupils roots and wings to be successful both

academically and personally. Roots to know where home is and wings to fly away and use

what they have learnt.Our pupils’ roots will be in the Chinese and British cultures, history, traditions and language brought together in a way that is uniquely ‘Harrow’. Our

pupils’ wings are both the unique Harrow-branded educational experience and the

leadership skills they will develop to help them serve the global community.

I look forward with anticipation to meeting you and sharing my passion for education

with the community. The beginning of our journey starts today, and I am delighted to be

The 450-year illustrious history of Harrow School in the UK spans a number of important

stages of Britain’s development. Modern day students of Harrow School in the UK follow the

footprints of well-known alumni to practice the core values of "courage, honour, humility and

fellowship" on a daily basis. Harrow Haikou aims to cultivate these four core values among

all students through the delivery of an outstanding curriculum that is brought to life through

high-quality teaching. Students will benefit from opportunities to develop cutting-edge learning and leadership skills through Our house system and pastoral care programmes. As

children’s lives unfold with us, they will develop roots and wings to go further.

Harrow Haikou is the first high-end British education brand to be launched in Hainan. We

will be setting a world-class education benchmark here, an important milestone for Hainan’s

development into an international education hub.

We will ensure that our e!orts will result in positive outcomes for all our students and will be
