Dear friends,
As the Year of the Snake approaches, NEW HORIZON Issue 40
arrives with heartfelt sincerity and exciting content.
This edition showcases Sika’s remarkable achievements and
innovative breakthroughs in the recent period. In October 2024,
the Sika Global Board of Directors visited China, immersing themselves in the core of China’s economy. They not only inspected
the local bases, partners, retail stores, and key projects but also
strengthened the deep integration with the Chinese market, laying a solid foundation for future development and investment.
In terms of significant investments and projects, Sika has
been actively involved in various key areas. The groundbreaking ceremony of Sika (Zhejiang) Novel Material Co., Ltd. signals
a further expansion of its business in China. For projects like
the Jing’an Underground Smart Garage, the Zhuhai Hengqin
Headquarters (Phase II), the 126 - meter offshore wind turbine
blades, and numerous construction and automotive projects,
Sika has provided robust support for their successful execution with advanced materials and technology, emerging as a
crucial driving force in promoting industry development.
In the field of technology and innovation, we have seen fruitful
results. Innovations in wall protection, upgrades in waterproofing and anti - corrosion, and green product certifications
have propelled industry technological progress, ranging from
enhancing material performance to optimizing overall building
quality, demonstrating Sika’s technological prowess and depth.
Regarding industry communication and cooperation, Sika
has been frequently lauded for its achievements. Academic
conferences, honors, and Sika Floor Academy certifications
have all contributed to its reputation. By partnering with strategic allies such as Pinghu Municiple Construction Materials,
Yutong, and BYD, Sika has broadened the scope of industrial
cooperation and elevated the overall quality of the industry,
fulfilling its social responsibilities.
Particularly remarkable is the Sika Library Project, a decade -
long public welfare initiative. Over the past ten years, Sika has
been committed to the transmission of knowledge and cultural in remote mountainous areas and regions where educational
resources are scarce. The donation of books/libraries has built
bridges for children to connect with the world, leaving a firm
and warm mark on the path of public welfare, which converges
into a magnificent river of Sika’s social value.
We hope this edition provides a window into Sika, and we
sincerely wish all readers a happy Spring Festival. Let’s work

2024 年 10 月 7 日至 11 日，西卡全球董事会中国行，深入上海、
广州、深圳和浙江等中国经济 TOP 级地区，以一场别开生面的
Citywalk，参观考察了西卡在华基地、战略合作伙伴、分销零
售门店以及大型西卡参建项目，以全球化的视角深入中国市场，
看见西卡与中国深度绑定下的共生和共融，全方位践行“Visit
To China”的活动主旨，也为西卡“超乎期待”的下一个百年
落下隆重的注脚。
From October 7 to October 11, 2024, Sika's global board of
directors embarked on an extensive journey in China, initiating
special Citywalk trips in key economic regions such as Shanghai,
Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Zhejiang. During the visits, the
delegation explored Sika's bases in China, strategic partners,
distribution and retailing outlets, and the large-scale projects
featuring Sika's participation. This experience provided a global
perspective on the Chinese market, highlighting the mutual growth
and harmony between Sika and China as they become deeply
integrated. This journey fully fulfilled the purpose of the \"Visit To
China\" campaign, marking a significant milestone as Sika continues
to set its sights on a future \"Beyond the Expected\".

众所周知，西卡是一家全球知名的特

主席范岚可先生（Mr. Thierry F.J. Vanlancker）、

chemicals, Sika has built a robust presence
in sectors including construction, automotive & industry, and building finishing
business. With systematic building solutions that span from rooftops to foundations, along with global R&D strength in
automotive and industrial manufacturing,
Sika has emerged as a leader in China’s
construction and industrial chemicals,
consistently advancing with the times.
During this visit, following the trajectory
of cities, a delegation led by Mr. Thierry
F.J. Vanlancker, Chairman of the Board of
Directors, along with Mr. Thomas Hasler,
Global CEO, Mr. Philippe Jost, Head of
APAC, as well as all the members of the
Board of Directors of Sika Group and the
management members of Sika in China,
visited flagship infrastructure projects
(such as the Rock Bund, Shanghai Tower,
and Hongqiao Airport). They also toured
Sika’s long-term strategic partners (such
as Tencent’s headquarters, Huawei’s
headquarters, Envision Group, and Geely
Group), representative retailing outlets,
home decoration supermarkets, and
several bases in China. While engaging
in an in-depth discussion on frontier
technologies and production processes
in the industry, the delegation delved
into the front line and learned the operational model of the home decoration
retailing business during site visits,
gaining firsthand and more real insights
into the market dynamics and customer
demand in China.

During the visit, the delegation met with the governor
of Jing’an District, Shanghai, together with the leaders of relevant functional departments of the district
government and Shibei High-tech Group. They shared
a full exchange and discussion on topics such as Sika’s
future development and cooperation.
Over the last three decades, Sika has played a vital
role in China’s urban construction with continuous
business expansion and growth in both sales and
influence. Sika is now closely related to the beautiful life of Chinese households. It has built strategic
partnerships with TOP 100 real estate companies
and leading decoration enterprises in China. With a
nationwide sales network, it encompassed over 3,000
exclusive stores and over 260,000 distribution outlets
across the country. Looking ahead, production bases
and retailing outlets will become part of Sika’s supply
chain in China, ensuring a continuous flow of sustainable products and solutions to the market. Sika
remains optimistic about the Chinese market and will
transition from “supply” to “win-win” through mutually beneficial deep integration.

以及友好、共赢、韧性的经济环境，是西
卡看好中国市场的底层逻辑；那么，从“双
循环”到“双碳”的时代背景下，一场面
向新能源、高端制造业、大型基建等的绿
色革命，正是西卡在中国的巨大机遇，以
及可持续发展的共识。
西卡积极践行零碳之路并制定了
“2050 净零碳排放”目标，在华投资的生
产和经营基地皆遵循集团可持续发展理念
建造。此次全球董事会一行访问考察的西
卡生产基地，均引入了国内外先进的节能
减排设备，将精益化管理体系融入到生产
全流程，西卡着眼于长期主义，为全球绿
色发展持续贡献力量。
当下，为进一步深化“碳达峰”“碳
中和”的战略转型路径，中国在风电、光伏、
核能等新能源领域，已然呈现井喷式发展
态势，而西卡早在数年前，就开始了新能
源产业的布局，在风电和核能领域，也已

我们有理由相信，随着此次西卡全球
董事之行以及西卡与众多战略合作伙伴的

new energy, advanced manufacturing, and
large-scale infrastructure construction

neutrality” presents exciting opportunities for Sika and echo the consensus on
sustainable development.
Sika is steadfast in its commitment to
achieving zero carbon emissions and has
set the goal of “net zero carbon emissions by 2050.” All of its production and
operational bases in China are aligned
with the Group’s sustainable development philosophy. Sika’s production bases visited by the delegation of the global
Board of Directors introduce domestically and internationally advanced energy
conservation and emissions reduction
equipment while incorporating a lean
management system throughout the
entire production process. Sika attaches
vital significance to long-term benefits
and continues to contribute to global
green development.
Currently, to further deepen the strategic transition path toward “carbon
peaking” and “carbon neutrality,” China
is experiencing a growth spurt in new
energy sectors, including wind power,
PV, and nuclear energy. Sika ventured
into these sectors several years ago and
owns relatively advanced technologies
and production capacities in both wind
power and nuclear energy.
We firmly believe that the visit of Sika’s
global BOD and the indepth cooperation
with various strategic partners will position Sika to excel in new energy sectors.
Furthermore, the Asia-Pacific R&D Center, which was completed and operational in 2023 as Sika’s largest R&D facility
outside Switzerland, will continue to develop tailored solutions for the Chinese

12 月 18 日，西卡（浙江）新材料工厂奠基仪式
圆满举行。平湖市领导、独山港经济开发区领导、
西卡管理层成员和西卡合作伙伴等嘉宾齐聚一
堂，共同见证西卡在华发展之路上，再添一座重
要里程碑！
On December 18th, the groundbreaking ceremony
for Sika (Zhejiang) Novel Materials Co., Ltd. was
successfully held. Guests including leaders of Pinghu
City, leaders of Dushan Port Economic Development
Zone, members of Sika's management team and
Sika's partners gathered together to jointly witness
another important milestone on Sika's development
path in China!

2024 年 12 月 18 日上午，奠基仪式在
浙江平湖市进行。平湖市领导、独山港经
济开发区领导、西卡亚太区相关负责人、
西卡中国高层领导，项目负责及支持单位
嘉宾共同见证这一值得纪念的时刻。嘉宾
和领导们纷纷表达了对新工厂建设和未来
发展的期待和祝福。
独山港经济开发区党工委书记、管委
会主任戈浩强先生，西卡亚太区运营负责
人欧得波先生（Mr. Stephan Oderbolz），西
卡中国总裁张烨炯先生，中国海诚股份总
裁陈荣荣先生先后致辞，表达了对西卡（浙
江）新材料有限公司项目的热烈祝贺和鼎
力支持。
上午十一时许，平湖市委书记仲旭东
正式宣布项目开工。值此良辰嘉时，嘉宾
们齐聚一堂，心怀祝福与期待，共同执起
金锹，为西卡（浙江）新材料工厂培土奠
基。西卡（浙江）新材料有限公司项目总
投资 1 亿美元，用地面积 100 亩，建筑面积
3.27 万平方米，拟建设年产 14.13 万吨高性
能环保胶粘剂及涂料等系列产品项目。项
目产品涵盖防火涂料、硅酮胶、地坪涂料、
胶粘剂、防水材料等，应用于清洁能源包
括风电、核电、新能源汽车以及绿色和低
碳建筑等领域。西卡（浙江）新材料工厂
将成为助力西卡实现可持续发展战略的重
要引擎，也将是西卡中国在华规模最大的
生产基地。预计项目一期 5.5 万吨销量，实
现销售额人民币 14 亿元；2030 年完成两期
合计 8.4 万吨销量，实现销售额合计人民币
20 亿元。
On the morning of December 18th, 2024,
the groundbreaking ceremony took place

from Pinghu City, Dushan Port Economic
Development Zone, representatives
from Sika Asia-Pacific Region, senior
leaders of Sika China, as well as guests
from project-responsible and supporting
functions, were present to witness this
memorable moment. The guests and
leaders all expressed their expectations
and blessings for the construction and
future development of the new factory.
Mr. Ge Haoqiang, Secretary of the Party
Working Committee and Director of the
Management Committee of Dushan
Port Economic Development Zone, Mr.
Stephan Oderbolz, Head of Operations
of Sika APAC, Mr. Leo Zhang, President
of Sika China, and Mr. Chen Rongrong,
President of China Haisum Engineering
Co., Ltd., delivered speeches in succession, expressing their warm congratulations and full support for the project of
Sika (Zhejiang) Novel Materials Co., Ltd.

the commencement of the project. At

adding soil. The total investment of the
project of Sika (Zhejiang) Novel Materials
Co., Ltd. is 100 million US dollars. It covers
an area of 100 mu, with a construction
area of 32,700 square meters. The project is planned to build an annual output
of 141,300 tons of high-performance
environmentally friendly adhesives, coatings and other series of products. The
products of the new facotry cover fireproof coatings, silicone sealants, flooring,
adhesives, waterproofing materials, etc.,
and are applied in fields such as clean energy including wind power, nuclear power,
new energy vehicles, as well as green and
low-carbon buildings. The Sika (Zhejiang)
Novel Materials facotry. will become an
important engine to help Sika achieve its
sustainable development strategy and
will also be the largest production base of
Sika in China. The project is anticipated
to generate RMB 1.4 billion in revenue
with a production of 55,000 tons in the
phase one. By 2050, upon completion of
phase two, a total sales revenue of RMB
2 billion and a production of 84,000 tons
is expected to be achieved.

停车库。这一项目的实施，将大幅提升该区域
的停车管理效率，缓解市中心的交通压力，为
上海的城市智能化发展提供了新的探索方向。
在该项目中，国之重器“梦想号”掘进机
发挥了不可替代的作用。由中铁十五局集团和
中国铁建重工集团共同打造的“梦想号”，整
机高约10米，总功率1,800千瓦，总重量650吨，
开挖直径达 23.02 米，是迄今为止全球开挖直
径最大的掘进机。
作为全球领先的专业化学品公司，西卡中

Shanghai, as a global metropolis, grapples with intricate traffic and spatial utilization problems. With a growing population and dwindling land resources, the
development and exploitation of underground spaces has emerged as a new
solution to urban dilemmas. Situated in Plot 058D-01 on Daning Street in Jing’an
District, this unique underground smart parking garage project includes two
smart parking garages, providing 304 underground parking spaces. The project
has a planned depth of about 50m below ground level, and features a total of 19
floors. Once completed, the construction will be the world’s largest diameter vertical tunnel parking lot. The implementation of this project will significantly improve parking management efficiency in the area, mitigating traffic pressure and
providing a new direction of exploration for the intelligent urban development of
Shanghai.
In this project, a shaft boring machine (SBM) nicknamed “Dream” plays an irreplaceable role. Developed collaboratively by the China Railway 15th Bureau Group
Corporation Limited and China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., this
impressive machine is 10 meters tall, with a total power output of 1,800KW, and
a weight of 650 tons. With an excavation diameter of 23.02 meters, it is currently
the world’s largest diameter SBM.
As a global leader in special chemicals, Sika supplied Sika ViscoCrete® 3300 High
Performance Concrete Admixture Solution to the project, ensuring that the
concrete’s compressive strength, fluidity, and operating performance fully met
the project requirements. The application of this innovative technology not only
highlights China’s technological progress in engineering, but also provides a valuable experience reference for similar projects worldwide.
The Sika China team worked closely with the construction unit and the concrete
supplier to maintain the concrete’s ideal operating performance in extreme conditions and successfully satisfied different requirements in the project. Throughout the construction process, Sika’s products and technical services were well-received by the client.

“明阳天成号”的启航不仅是我国海
上风电技术的一大突破，也是全球风电行
业的一个重要里程碑。这一漂浮式风电平
台采用了多项全球首创技术，其浮式基础
使用了抗压能力高达 115 兆帕的超高性能混
凝土材料，这种材料的强度是普通混凝土
的四倍，大大提高了平台在极端天气中的
安全性和稳定性。艳阳之下，呈“V”字形
的双转子风电（搭载两台 8.3 兆瓦海上风机）
平台矗立在码头上。叶轮最高处相当于 40
层楼高，可达 219 米，其目标应用于水深
35 米以上的广泛海域。预计“明阳天成号”
可经受 72 米 / 秒的风速和 30 米波高的海
上极端考验，每年可发电约 5,400 万度，
满足 3 万户三口之家一年的日常用电。
As well as a breakthrough in technology,
OceanX also represents an important
milestone in the global wind power
industr y. This floating wind power
platform embraces a number of global groundbreaking technologies, with
a floating foundation built with ultra-high-performance concrete that can
withstand pressure up to 115MPa, four
times that of conventional concrete.
This significantly boosts the safety and
stability of the platform in extreme
weather conditions. Under the bright
sun, the double-turbine “V”-shaped
wind power platform (equipped with two
8.3MW offshore wind turbines) perches
on the pier. The maximum height of the
impeller reaches 219m, comparable to a
40-story skyscraper. It is designed for
deployment in expansive waters with
depths exceeding 35m, and as such is
expected to endure extreme conditions
at sea including wind speeds of up to
72m/s and wave heights of 30m. It can
generate approximately 54 million kWh
of electricity annually, enough to power
30,000 families of three for an entire
year.

高层商办建筑、裙楼购物中心及商业街组成，北
塔高约 278 米，南塔高约 289 米，整体设计新颖独
特，融合了澳门建筑特色，以“双龙戏珠”为灵感，
外观金光璀璨，展现出力与美的完美统一。
The Hengqin Headquarters Complex, located in
the Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai City, Guangdong
Province, is a joint development by Hong Kong Jimei
Group, China MCC20 Group Corp. LTD., and Da Heng
Qin Investment Co., Ltd. With a total investment
of approximately RMB 8.30 billion, the project
spans a land area of 80,000 square meters and a
total construction area of about 500,000 square
meters. It comprises two super high-rise commercial
and office buildings, a shopping center of podium
structure, and commercial streets. The north tower
is about 278m high, while the south tower is about
289m high. Inspired by the architectural features of
Macao and the symbolic imagery of \"two dragons
chasing a pearl,\" the complex boasts an innovative,
iconic design. Its shimmering golden façade exudes

Phase II of the Hengqin Headquarters
Complex employs a total prefabricated
steel structure, an innovative initiative
making it the first super high-rise building of its kind in China and highlighting
a commitment to advanced green and
environmentally friendly construction
practices. The project boasts significant
geographical advantages: it lies right adjacent to the Lotus Bridge that connects
Hengqin to Macao in the southeast direction and directly faces Hengqin Port
in the south direction. To the east, it
borders the inland waterway of Lingdingyang Estuary and overlooks the Macao
Special Administrative Region across
the water. Its location is strategically
important.
The Sika FFI team played a pivotal role
in ensuring the success of this landmark
project. From the initial scheme design
phase led by the consultant, this team
was deeply engaged throughout the
entire process. Through extensive and
careful scheme alignment and numerous rounds of strict project testing and
evaluation, Sika’s FFI structural adhesive and weather-resistant sealant were
selected and successfully applied.
Notably, Sikasil® SG structural adhesive
stood out for its exceptional performance in providing durable and reliable
bonding. In the structural frame bonding
of the glass curtain wall, it acted as a
robust “bond” thatensured the stability and integrity of the glass curtain
wall structure, enabling it to withstand
complex environmental conditions

adhesive forms a superior sealing and
bonding system for the Zhuhai Hengqin
Headquarters Complex (Phase II) project.

A set of 18MW direct-drive offshore wind turbines, developed by a
domestic company with fully independent intellectual property rights, has
been successfully delivered from the production line in the production base
in Fujian. This turbine boasts the highest unit capacity and the largest
impeller diameter among direct-drive offshore wind turbines delivered in
the world so far. All of its key components, including blades, generators,
converters, and transformers, have been fully localized, driving the
coordinated development and technological advancement of the entire
wind power industry chain.

A single offshore wind turbine blade
measures 126m in length and features
an independently developed airfoil with
a large thickness, blunt trailing edge, and
superior performance. It employs the
integrated design technology of aerodynamic structure and the adaptive load
reduction technology of bending-torsional coupling. Built with a new carbon
fiber pultrusion plate material and a
novel main beam structure, it ensures
both structural safety and cost-effectiveness. Its double-bearing structural
arrangement ensures even distribution
of bearing stress and enhances the load
capacity, safety, and reliability of the
bearings. This model is equipped with a
design of “active yaw anti-typhoon strategy + passive anti-typhoon structure”
to withstand super typhoons with wind
speeds of up to 80m/s, making it suitable
for various marine environments.
In the critical process of wind turbine
blade manufacturing, adhesives are essential structural components. As the
size of these blades grows, the requirements for manufacturing technology
and process precision become increasingly demanding, leading to extremely
high requirements for the reliability and
durability of adhesives.
To meet these challenges, Sika introduced the SikaPower® two-component
epoxy structural adhesive as a key to
solving numerous problems. SikaPower®

strength to connect various components
of the blade tightly and securely. This

erosion, or temperature and humidity
changes in different seasons and climatic conditions for extended periods
of time. This ensures the service life of
the wind turbine blade and reduces the
cost of frequent blade replacement or
maintenance due to the deterioration
of adhesive performance. Moreover,
it improves production efficiency and
supports continuous breakthroughs in
the high-quality manufacturing of wind
turbine blade technology.

一座人工室内冰场，曾举办 2008 年北京奥
运会排球比赛。2022 年北京冬奥会期间，
曾承担短道速滑和花样滑冰的比赛任务，
在这里共产生了 14 枚金牌。场馆外观“修
旧如旧”，延续经典，场馆内着力打造“最
美的冰”，营造更好观赛体验。
该场馆的停车库全部使用了西卡的

Initially built in 1968, Capital Indoor
Stadium was the first artificial indoor
ice rink in China and hosted the volleyball events of the 2008 Beijing Olympic
Games. During the 2022 Beijing Winter
Olympics, it served as the venue for
short track speed skating and figure
skating events, where Chinese athletes
won 14 gold medals. The desired appearance of the venue was to be “restored
as it was before” to maintain a classic
charm. Inside the venue, the aim was to
create “the most beautiful ice” for an
enhanced spectator experience.
The parking garage in the stadium uses
Sikafloor®-3 Quartz Top, a wear-resistant flooring solution, over a construction area of more than 20,000
square meters. This solution creates a
wear-resistant, impact-resistant, and
dust-proof floor that helped the Capital
Indoor Stadium continue its legendary
story.

The National Speed Skating Oval, also
known as the “Ice Ribbon”, was the
only newly constructed ice competition
venue for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Along with the “Bird’s Nest” and the
“Water Cube”, it forms an iconic architectural complex known as a “dual
Olympic city”. This venue hosted the
speed skating events, and was the venue that witnessed the highest number
of gold medals during the Beijing Winter
Olympics.
In this venue, the Sika Terrazzo flooring
system is used at the entrance of the
B1 level. The floor features a pattern
of white and gray circles, creating a dynamic and appealing atmosphere that
resonates with the name “Ice Ribbon”. It
is an integral part of the National Speed
Skating Oval that contributes to better spectator experience and acts as a

国家雪车雪橇中心是北京冬奥会雪车、
雪橇、钢架雪车项目的比赛场地。场馆共
有 16 个角度、坡度不同的弯道，2020 年 10
月赛道制冰完成，迎来国家堆入驻训练，
成为北京冬奥会首个国家对入驻的训练场
馆，是中国国内第一条，也是唯一一条符
合冬奥会标准的雪车雪橇赛道。
雪车雪橇中心的所有办公场地、设备
区域以及公共过道等都使用了西卡超耐磨水
泥基自流平地坪系统，共计 40,000 多平方
米，具有耐磨耐刮划、防滑等优点。为整个
场馆的使用提供了安全保障，也与整体场馆
的内部设计交相辉映，展现了国际标准水平。
The National Sliding Centre hosted the
bobsleigh, luge and skeleton events
during the Beijing Winter Olympics. This
venue has 16 slopes with different angles
and gradients. The ice-making on the
track was completed in October 2020,
marking the beginning of training efforts
for the national team and establishing
the first training site of its kind in the
Beijing Winter Olympics. It is the first
and only bobsleigh and luge track in China
that meets Winter Olympic standards.
In the Sliding Centre, all office areas,
equipment zones, and public walkways,
covering over 40,000 square meters,

The Shougang Winter Olympics Square
renovation project is situated in Shougang Park (the competition site where

air). This project consists of 24 monolithic buildings spanning across six plots,
arranged to form a “U” shape and serving multifaceted functions during the
Winter Olympics.

The Workers’ Gymnasium in Beijing has

The Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-Speed
Railway is an intelligent high-speed railway designed with Beidou satellite navigation technology, able to reach speeds
of 350km/h. During the Beijing Winter
Olympics, it served as an important supporting facility. Based on the operational experience and advanced technology
of the intelligent Beijing-Zhangjiakou
Fuxing High-Speed Railway, the “Ruixue
Yingchun” Fuxing intelligent electric
multiple unit (EMU) train is a full embodiment of safety, comfort, convenience
and premium passenger experience.

the construction of the Winter Olympic
Village, which align with the “healthy
building” philosophy embraced by the

化营销方向的探索。旨在数字化时

and project coverage, and enhancing
brand presence in the digital era.

Given the fundamentals of downturn and
increasing competition in the new construction market, Sika’s digital marketing
team basically determined a strategic
direction of the construction aftermarket in early 2024. Sika is committed to
achieving its objectives through collaboration with the MRO digital platforms in
this market.
Zhenkunhang Industrial Supermarket
(Shanghai) Co. Ltd., one of the largest
MRO e-commerce platforms in China,
serves more than 140,000 customers,
primarily in the industrial and property
sectors. Officially launched on June 11,
2024, Sika’s brand pavilion on the ZKH
platform offers one-stop solutions for
construction and industrial maintenance
and renovation that focus on three application scenarios: property, infrastructure, and industrial premises. Its main
product lines include flooring, sealing,
refurbishment and reinforcement materials, interior and exterior wall coatings,
waterproofing materials, and other new
product series for repair and renovation
purposes.
在目前建筑新建市场低迷，竞争内卷
的基本面下。西卡数字化营销团队 2024 年
初期基本确定了建筑后市场的战略方向，
通过和市场上 MRO 数字化平台合作，西卡
致力于实现其目标。
震坤行工业超市（上海）有限公司是
中国最大的 MRO 电商平台之一，其客户基
数超过 140,000 家，主要服务于工业和物
业类客户。西卡在震坤行平台的品牌馆于
2024 年 6 月 11 日正式上线，提供一站式建
筑及工业维修翻新解决方案，聚焦三个应
用场景：物业、基建、工业厂房。主要的
产品线包含地坪、密封胶、修补加固、内
外墙涂料、防水等修缮翻新系列产品。
In order to more effectively reach target
home owners in digital spaces, Sika China
hosted a live streaming event on the ZKH
platform on August 29, 2024. The event,
streamed primarily on the platforms of
WeChat and Douyin, lasted 2.5 hours
and attracted more than 20,000 B-end
audiences. It showcased Sika Group’s
commitment to green development and
exploration of digital business.
为了更高效地数字化触达目标业主客
户。2024 年 8 月 29 日，西卡中国在震坤行
平台举办了现场直播活动，此次直播主要
在微信和抖音平台进行，直播时长 2 个半
小时，共吸引了 20,000 多 B 端客户观看，
展示了西卡集团绿色发展的理念以及数字
化业务探索的方向。

Two months following the live streaming
event, we reviewed customer acquisition
results: By October 31, the event page
had garnered a total of 700 visits, 610
visitors, and a conversion rate of 0.5%.
After the event, not only did existing customers on ZKH begin placing orders for
Sika’s products on the platform, over a
dozen new customers and potential projects were also drawn to Sika and ZKH.
These customers were primarily from the
industrial and property sectors.
直播两个月后我们回顾了下活动后的
获客状况：截至 10 月 31 号活动页面总访问
量达到 700 次，访问用户达到 610 家，活
动页面转化率 0.5%。在活动后震坤行的老
客户开始陆续在平台上订购西卡产品的同
时，也给西卡和震坤行带来了十几家新客
户和潜在项目，且客户主要来自于工业和
物业领域。

highlighted the obvious complementary
advantage shared by the two parties.
The integration of Sika’s products with
ZKH’s services provides a more convenient and higher-quality service experience for customers.
On September 27, 2024, Wang Bo, Executive Vice President of Sika China,
and Yang Changxiang, Vice President
of ZKH, signed a strategic cooperation
agreement in Shanghai. The teams from
both organizations will work together
actively to explore market opportunities,
expand business globally, enhance brand
influence, and pave the way for a future
including more digital procurement.
This par tnership has opened a new
chapter of digital strategic cooperation
for both parties.

In the autumn of 2024, Sika attended
the 16th Academic Exchange Conference
on Pipeline Engineering Structures. At
the conference, Ms. Wang Mei, a largescale project manager with Sika China’s
repair and refurbishment team, presented and introduced integrated solutions
for waterproof and anti-corrosion municipal pipelines utilizing profound Xolutec® technology.
Xolutec® technology is an intelligent and
novel approach invented by Sika MBCC
that merges complementary chemical
properties. This technology not only
enables a reaction between organic
and inorganic materials that forms a
cross-linking interpenetration network,
but also supports the configuration of
products with different performance capacities by controlling the cross-linking
densities of materials.
Sikagard® M 790 and Sikagard® P 770
N are inorganic modified polyurea anti-corrosion and waterproof coating
systems based on Xolutec® technology.
These solutions are specifically designed
to protect sewage pipes and sewage
treatment facilities and help them cope
with extreme environmental challenges.
Sika’s waterproofing and anti-corrosion
integrated solution have been utilized in
numerous projects, including the sewage
treatment facility at Shanghai Chemical
Industry Park, the initial rainwater regulation and storage pipeline in Jinqiao,
Shanghai, an activated carbon project
(Phase-II) of Sino French Water in Shanghai, and a sewage tank at the BASF
Chemical Industry Base in Zhanjiang.

The Sika Floor Academy Construction Certification offers specialized training and
certification for contractors in floor construction. It is designed to help contractors
fully understand the key points of Sika flooring construction and master
construction techniques through relevant training, so as to reduce quality issues
that arise from improper construction practices, helping ensure project excellence
when working with Sika flooring solutions.

The Bronze Certificate is granted
based on successful completion
of the training at Sika’s training
bases in Suzhou or Guangzhou,
including classroom instruction,
hands-on exercises, and assessment exercises.
The Gold Certificate is granted
based on acquisition of Sika’s onsite training assessment certification, with validity of one year, and
completion of more than 3 model
projects. After expiration, maintaining the certification level requires declaration of at least one
project annually and completion of
an on-site follow-up assessment
with a conformity result.
The Silver Certificate is granted
based on acquisition of Sika’s onsite training assessment certification, with validity of one year, and

In 2024, the judging panel of Sika Floor
Academy embarked on field visits to
many locations to rate projects based
on different assessment indicators of
on-site construction technology and construction management. These included
the assessment and treatment of formation level in flooring construction, on-site
construction organization and coordination, on-site construction techniques and
management, on-site protection, and
safe and orderly construction. As of the
release of this article, Sika Floor Academy has issued 2 gold certifications and 3
silver certifications in 2024.

赴多地进行实地考察，对项目现场施工技
术及施工管理的各项考核指标进行评分，
地坪施工的基面评估处理、现场施工组织
统筹、现场施工技术与管理，现场保护、

Guangzhou Yongrun Building Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred
to as “Guangzhou Yongrun”), established in 2011, is a company specializing in the
